This is Patrick S. speaking here. Please pray for my hometown of Taylorville, IL. We were hit head on by a large, damaging tornado earlier this evening, and much of the west side of town has been damaged and even destroyed.

I suppose, given the budget limitations of television (especially a 'normal' network like CBS as opposed to 'premium' stuff like HBO), and the fact that Red Tornado is a robot, I suppose it looks pretty good.

Aside from a storm warning, there's a tornado watch in effect through five in the morning (for context, it's 11:49p.m. as I'm typing this). Whether it happens or not, I am not looking forward to dealing with the aftermath.
Hey Guys, wonder if you might show a bit of love for the stories of Tornado Firehooves. He's feeling a bit down right now and I think a bit of positivity might help. He writes based primarily on G1 ponies but has incorporated them and the other generations of MLP into what I think is a unique concept.
So how has work been? Well, it's taken me two weeks to post an already-written, already-edited, already-published-in-an-exclusive-con-book story, so I think that's your answer.
But anyway, onto the story notes!
While it hasn't really come up in the previous blogs, I do love when a band decides to combine instruments or genres that you wouldn't think would work together but in fact they do. For example, there's Eluvite, a metal band that has a hurdy-gurdy and sings in Gaulish sometimes. Or Nanowar of Steel's Valhalleluja, which is a mix of gospel and metal [let's be honest, Nanowar of Steel is the metal Weird Al].
There's a tornado in our area. A small one, but we're being told to get into our shelters. It's going to be right on top of us. The strongest part too. We only have a closet, and the security of that is debatable.

It's funny how we take something as simple as eating out at a restaurant for granted. Thanks to the global pandemic, right now it's either cook or get takeout. I usually opt for the latter, mainly because food should actually be edible...

And the story already continues! This happened faster than I thought. There was a short thunderstorm on Monday and this means I could sit down and write the first update after the start and initial announcement.
I want to try out another writing experiment. A couple weeks ago, I was sitting here at my computer during a thunderstorm at night, when I suddenly heard the crying of a little girl coming in through my open window. Followed by a flash of lightning. It was an eerie cry and it got me to think about what things might lurk outside during such a thunderstorm in the middle of the night. Like it's tradition for me since 2016, I have written a Hearth's Warming Eve story again this year. And like last year, it's a ponification of a movie!

Okay, I have been waiting for a while now to make sure, but now it's the end of October, and it looks like there won't be any more thunderstorms coming this year. This means, Thunderstorm Story will have an intermission until late Spring, when the next thunderstorms are to expect.
Yes, I'm taking another hiatus. I've just realized somethings that I need to resolve within myself and just...dangit, I'm bad with words. You know what, forget it. I'm not gonna try and make this emotional or overdramatic or anything like that. I've realized I've lost connection with myself, my faith, and my friends, and I need to fix that. I will not return before I do. I have no clue how long that will be. Before I go though, I'd like to give some quick shoutouts.
