It's not a LEAK.
Just because America doesn't get everything first doesn't make it a leak. It aired on TV and was completely legal.
SERIOUS SPOILERS FOR THE SEASON 6 FINALE.
Well, BUCK.
That was a rolling epic that brought amazing depth to some of our favourite secondary characters and it was loaded with creepy imagery. However, as always ... my poor little headcanons and all the fanfictions thereof!
Damn. Damn. Not the most amazing episode, or even the most amazing finale (I'd rank it third overall), but a good episode, bordering on great.
So... Chrysalis has legged it, Thorax is the new changeling king, and the changelings are good now.
On the one hand, it was a great finale in its own right.
On the other hand, the changeling-focused fic I JUST wrote has been rendered null and void by canon.
I wrote a “pros and cons” blog post for the Season 5 finale back when I had so few followers that no one probably read it. So I figured, why not do it again for Season 6 and see how it compares?
Pros:
1. The build-up in Part 1 was good overall.
2. Trixie had some good zingers, as did Discord. Between the two of them, this may be the funniest two-parter in the series, FWIW.
“Oooooo—”, said Pinkie Pie, “—wasn’t that just the best season finale EVER? It had a party at the end and everything!”
“You say that about every season finale,” said Applejack.
“That’s because every season finale is the best season finale EVER,” explained Pinkie. Applejack decided not to further question this logic.
“It was… erm… very nice,” added Fluttershy. “It was good to see how Discord’s character has developed.”
WARNING!!! The following contains SPOILERS for the MLP’s season finale “To Where and Back Again”.
Now, without further a-road-goes-ever-on-and-on-do, here is my review of “To Where and Back Again”.
So the Season 6 finale synopsis, To Where and Back Again, is out...
That sounds familiar...
Oh wait.
I kind of beat Hasbro to it.
Okay I am going to try to keep this as vague as possible for those who a) haven't seen the two episodes yet and b) want to wait for the official USA release before they watch it. I will post the part 2 of this review on/around October 22nd when they air in the US, and in that one I will go more in depth on my thoughts/ideas/etc of them.

Let the battle begin!
*SPOILERS FOR THE FINALE!*
The fandom has seemed to collectively dub the new form of the Changelings a metamorphosis.
This seems accurate...though here's the thing that will probably confuse people: if it's a metamorphosis, why do both forms have wings?
Well, here's my thoughts:
The familiar form we've seen for the past few seasons can be called a 'Subimago' stage.
In a tree in a town there lived a unicorn. Not a nasty, dirty, rotten tree, filled with the ends of worms and an oozy smell, nor yet a dry, bare, empty tree with nothing in it to sit down on or to eat: it was a palace-tree, and that means comfort.
Of course, as with Bilbo Baggins, Starlight sitting around and eating elevenses wouldn’t make for a very compelling two-parter. Time to send her off on an adventure.
Spoilers be damned, I want more pony and I want it now!
Go us, boo everyone else.
So yeah... the finale has arrived, a bit earlier than expected but it's here nonetheless.
And to be quite honest, I really don't know how I feel about it.
