Saw Suicide Squad last night. 7.5/10. Definitely better than Batman vs. Superman. Margo Robbie nailed the insanity, personality and badassery of Harley Quinn, whose character stole the show, and Will Smith's Deadshot wasn't far behind, as he played the role with proper nuance--an assassin for hire with a soft spot for his daughter.
So, looking over some trailers and promo art for Suicide Squad I found out something very interesting. Look with attention:

What's this? A modern DC comics movie that's actually...FUN? Surprisingly, yes. But I'm getting ahead of myself. Lets start from the top.
This looks legit, I must admit. Zany, but without the base, asinine vulgarity that Deadpool seems to be bathing in.
So yeah, sign me the fuck up.
I am legitimately looking forward to this, albeit with a touch of apprehension due to the obviously, ultra dark tone that the film seems to be going for.
But given that this is Suicide Squad, a movie focused on whats basically scads of murderers, it makes sense that it'd be signficently darker.
Yep! Right after DC's ultimate Martha-Tie film "Bat-unisher V Super-Kill meets Wonder Prequal and Teenage Mutant Cave-troll-ination", we have a movie centered around the villains serving time by dying in the process! Now, to get this out of the way, yes, Rotten Tomatoes placed it in the 20's, but... just watch good ol' Nostalgia here.
Watched it? Good! Now onto the review of the Squad in which no one commits suicide, surprisingly.

If I had to pick one movie that I was most excited for this year, it would be Suicide Squad. The premise just looked so fun and entertaining. So imagine my delight when I was given a free pass to see the film two days early. I attended Wednesday night’s 6:00 PM advance screening of Suicide Squad in Dolby Atmos. Was it worth watching?

Hello all. I've had this thought rattling around the old noggin for a while, and thought I'd dash it off while I'm still waiting to depart on my trip.
I've seen a share of movies in the past several months, and while I've wanted to write up my thoughts on them for a while, I've not found it in me to sit down and do an in-depth writeup of them... so I thought I'd just compress the whole thing and do each movie as its own paragraph or two. Keep it simple and to the point.
Rating Scale:
12/10—a complete masterpiece; flawless and outstanding
11/10—Excellent, near-perfect film
10/10—the standard rating; awesome film with a couple of flaws
9/10—a wonderful film with several flaws
8/10–a great film with numerous flaws but not enough to ruin it
I have found my Joss Whedon: A relatively new and low writer called The IDA Official. I trust him with this project; we both chatted about this project and he's willing to follow my vision, but adding his own flair to it.
Just thought I'd tell you guys, I'm giving you a few poster pictures for films I plan on reviewing later in time. When I have the time to do so. It won't be in the order its shown, but they are a few films I plan to review for you guys.

Now, I'm gonna get back to watching Batman: The Animated Series. I've been liveblogging it on tumblr for the past couple days and I'm honestly having the BEST TIME. It's not only been a trip down memory lane, but also fun to watch because omfg there were so many bad puns I LOVE IT. I'm not as far as I want to be, but I'm close to reuniting with a childhood favorite of mine:
