Nightmare Moon declares that Celestia has been locked in the moon for years. Years. Now perhaps that whole "one year between season 1 and season 4" thing can die.

Yeah I am a bit mifed about that one. It was so stupid but people have persisted with it in spite of all the evidence to the contrary.

And it was absolutely positutly the most AMAZING episode yet. Talk about a way to finish the best season in style. So I just finished watching the season finale of mlp (its around 12:30am here) and when Twilight told Starlight that she would teach her the magic of friendship and technically take her in as her personal prodigy I was like Holy Fucking Shit this season has been awesome and I can't wait for Season 6 to air!!!!!

So, the season finale starts off with Twilight giving a lecture about cutiemark magic and swears she saw starlight glimmer.

Anyone whose seen the animatic knows what happens next so i'll just skip to the part where she warps to the past.

What we get is what, oddly enough, is the starting plot to the game i'm making atm but that's the only connection between the two it seems.

Well to be fair I had thought they where going too Retcon something with time travel or at the very least show us a timeline of events for the last five seasons.

Immediately prior to the season finale, about the last thing I expected was for a big, dark, multi-part Rarity story to explode into my brain. I still wasn't expecting it at the finale's halfway point; the Sombra-War-'verse was cool, and timeline-aware-Zecora was even cooler IMO. But then Nightmare-'verse Rarity was given a few seconds in which to chew the scenery, and the seeds for To Serve In Hell were sown.
