Well, here we are again, my friends. Another season of pony behind us, and another stunning finale to close it all out. It's a shame that we'll have to wait a year for more pony related things...
Starlight Glimmer returns to seek vengeance on Twilight and her friends and has acquired a spell that could change the past, present, and future of Equestria forever.
Princess Twilight's efforts to stop Starlight from altering the past continue, but she fears that they may be in vain.
Thought I might make early today since it's the finale! Is everybody suitably hyped?
First of all, for the casual passerby, this is me talking about the season five finale. Not reviewing, not summarizing, just giving voice to my thoughts. I'll put some spoiler lines to avoid anyone reading further, assuming they clicked this expecting not to see spoilers somehow.
Okay, beyond here you're on your own.
I am not certain what to make of this.
In this week's MLP Season 5 finale, Starlight Glimmer returns and travels back in time to stop the sonic rainboom that gave the Mane 6 their cutie marks. Now, Twilight and Spike must try their best to stop Starlight and save the Equestria they know and love from being erased from existence...
Wow. This was a doozy. Let’s throw up the page break to minimize spoilers beyond that.
So, another season has come and gone. Season 5 went out with a very fanficcy bang, as we see an episode that could well have been a piece of fanfiction.
Unfortunately, it wasn’t a particularly good one in some respects, while it was fairly decent in others.
The overall idea behind this episode was actually a fairly good one – Starlight Glimmer going back in time to make it so that Twilight Sparkle and her friends never got together.
