Alright, so I'm gonna give you all a long post explaining my (semi) absence from Fimfiction.

So, starting August 27th, last Thursday:

I wake up and my mother tells me that my uncle in law was taken off of life-support. That night, we went to St. Luke's in Boise and we were there for three days.

Saturday, August 29th, My uncle passed. We left for home Sunday.

That's when, Monday thru Tuesday, I was working/submitting my newest story.

Got a lively one on my hands here. I'd been struggling with this chapter for awhile but yesterday I threw down about 8 pages in google docs and the two fires, Firesight and Silentwoodfire both took a look at it and loved it! As per the odd-chapter rule, there's no sex — really can't call it clop at this point given the amount of story this thing has now. As a mediocre writer I constantly feel an impending sense of doom/the thought of ruining a story my fans like hurts.

So that is why I want to ask everyone who is PM’ing me for the next chapter of one of my stories to stop I have revived 3 over the last month.

And you know who you are but i puts strain on me as a writer and makes my work less then it usually is so I would prefer not to have PM’s.

After several attempts to get back into Richard's voice, I've found I just don't have anything else to say. I said it before and I'll say it again, if it was good enough to hit 300 likes with all its flaws it's not something I should feel bad or guilty about. And today on 6/7/2019 I just don't think it was ever necessary to try and improve on it. It's not a well-written story by any measure but it's not the only measure of my quality out there as I'm now on my eighth story.

Been finding myself chanting "Chai! Chai! Chai!" under my breath recently. Huh, I wonder why.

No, I've never actually played the game; it's a bit too high-energy for me, 3-D platformers aren't my thing, and I have a little issue with something called "heights" that the game indulges in here and there. Seen plenty of footage of it, though, and I find it fun to watch.
