RIP Robin Williams · 10:39pm Aug 11th, 2022

On this day, we lost a good man. You know him as a legend, others knew him as a husband, father, and friend. May you keep the heavens laughing with your comedy, Robin Williams.

Fly Away, Robin. . . . · 1:58pm Aug 15th, 2019

I was going to write a tribute story for this week, but I had to move, and work’s been stressful, and I’ve been rather depressed, lately, so I’ve not had the energy to finish it. Oh, well, I suppose there’s always next year.

RIP Robin Williams. · 2:46pm Aug 11th, 2017

(I also post this as a test of people's morality)

Three years ago... today (August 11), and it still burns me this day. He was such a great actor.

I remember him best as...

-The Genie (Aladdin)
-Alan Parish (Jumanji)
-Prof. Philip Brainard (Flubber)

And of course we all can't forget him as MRS. DOUBTFIRE (Really angry movie, that one. I hated the mother)

"Friend Like Me"- (From Disney's "Aladdin") · 1:59pm Aug 11th, 2016

Well Ali Baba had them forty thieves
Scheherezade had a thousand tales
But master you in luck 'cause up your sleeves
You got a brand of magic never fails
You got some power in your corner now
Some heavy ammunition in your camp
You got some punch, pizzaz, yahoo and how
See all you gotta do is rub that lamp
And I'll say

Mister Aladdin, sir
What will your pleasure be?
Let me take your order
Jot it down

Aladdin Tribute One Shot Idea · 3:40pm May 23rd, 2019

Who should be the Genie? And should I have it be the EG version of Aladdin or should I have the girls get sucked into the story book or perhaps travel to Saddle Arabia for some reason and one of the girls find the lamp? Let me know which you guys would like to see most. What should the girls wish for? Lets see what whacky fun shit we can come up with.

Review: Insomnia (2002) · 8:54pm Sep 4th, 2015

Made in the wake of Memento, but before his big budget Batman films, Insomnia catches Christopher Nolan right before his true rise to fame, and still experimenting with the tropes and stylings that would later define his work. As such, it feels a bit transitory, and while still a good film, is not quite as strong or as tightly wound as it could have been.

R.I.P. Robin Williams: Goodnight, sweet prince, and flights of angels sing thee to thy rest... · 8:32pm Aug 11th, 2018

I remember when I saw those images on Twitter the day after... I cried like a little kid. I felt like I'd lost a father. Robin was my hero when I was small; he was a man that brought me smiles in the worst of times. He was the one who made my childhood with movies like Aladin and Ms. Doubtfire. He was the greatest man in the world, to a nine-year-old me.
