Richard III · 9:48pm Oct 3rd, 2019

Today, I asisted to probably one of the best play of all Time. I asisted to Richard III or the third from the very mind of William Fucking Shakespeare And it was amazing! The actors, the stage, even the costumes were amazing!

The seek of power can turn even the most fragile of lamb into a big bad Wolf reading to kill his entire family just a golden piece of metal.

COMICS, PART 3: Jeremy Whitley, Sara Richard · 2:33pm Feb 17th, 2017

Jeremy Whitely has a reputation for some..... external drama. Let's not bring any of that up. I'll just look at his written comics and decide if they're good enough on their own. Maybe he's got the talent to back up his ego! Let's enter the magical world of Equestria through his vision!

Disappointed · 8:38am Sep 10th, 2021

It left a bad taste in my mouth when I found out that Mike Richards appointed himself as the permanent host of Jeopardy! after having a wide array of guest hosts throughout 2021. However, Richards's offensive comments about women, Jews, and Asians in his past podcast have resurfaced, along with his tenure in The Price is Right and accusations of self-dealing. As a result, he's no longer the executive producer and host of the game show. Serves him right!

Does knowing how rainbows are formed make them any less awesome? · 10:42pm Jan 19th, 2014

In his book Unweaving the Rainbow, Richard Dawkins challenges the idea that a scientific understanding of natural phenomena somehow lessens their beauty and the sense of awe that they inspire, and instead argues that the exact opposite is true. The title is from a quotation by Keats, who said, maybe in jest, that Newton had destroyed the poetry of the rainbow by 'reducing it to the prismatic colours'. (Incidentally Unweaving the Rainboom was my working title for

Review: Looking for Richard (1996) · 12:09am Jul 1st, 2015

Reviewing a documentary is always a little different from reviewing a normal film, as a normal film has elements such as screenwriting and acting, where's, more often then not, a documentary is raw images combined with facts and narration.

Second Awesome Video of the Week (Richard Hammond torches a Nissan Sunny with a Dragster) · 8:37pm Dec 16th, 2016

Yep, two awesome videos in one day. This time, The "Hamster" torches what he considers the worst car in the WORLD, AKA the Nissan Sunny. As he says, "God gave us celery as the benchmark for blandness (Might be paraphrasing here somewhat... Okay, quite a bit.) but somehow Mankind improved on upon that with... with... this thing."

As for what he does to it, better you see for yourself.

Burn baby, burn.:trollestia:

Rakadi & Ahe'eyo: A Quick & Dirty Guide · 2:22am Jun 25th, 2018

I mentioned in my author's note for Rakadi & Ahe'eyo: The Language Barrier that I created two entire languages for use exclusively in my story. I figured I'd put out there exactly how the two languages function (or, at least, how the bits of it function that were relevant to the story).

Rakadi's Language: Yamnaic

I find it fitting that my 43rd story on the site is a NASCAR fic. #43 will always belong to the King.

Brendan Gaughan is the driver of the car featured in the main image, and he raced his way to a 7th place finish in this year's 500. I managed to get pics of each car as they were lining them up for the race's restart on Monday, and this was the one that worked best for a title image. Brendan's calling it a career at the end of the year.

Richard M. Nixon was the the 37th president of the United States. Before that he was Vice President under Dwight D. Eisenhower, a member of the house of representatives, a naval officer, lawyer and periodically during his life an author. He appeared on a few television shows including The Mickey Mouse Club, Laugh-In and various late night television comedy shows like Jack Paar or The Merv Griffin Show. As many of you may already know, Karrie Fisher passed away today after suffering a cardiac incident on a plane. She was only 60. My nerd heart breaks for this news, as this is someone who struggled with disorders, addiction, and more, only to climb out on top in recent years. To have her fall now...well...she deserved better.

Steven Spielberg's second feature continues to be a genre defining masterstroke of filmmaking, balancing character, story and thrills equally, and not only inventing the idea of the summer blockbuster, but in many ways, remaining the benchmark that so many such films have been judged by, even 40 years after its release.
