...it's fast food TV. You wouldn't call it the nicely crafted cuisine that Friendship is Magic was, at least at its best. But sometimes a burger and fries is what you want. I don't think Pony Life is going to charm me, but I don't hate it and I think it might make decent bite-sized entertainment when I'm in the mood.

I've yet to watch it. Any of you seen it?

I'd don't necessarily like it, either, but it's not the worst pony thing I've seen.

I doubt I'll make a habit of watching it as I did with the main show, but there's something weirdly charming about it. I do understand the comparisons between that and TEEN Titans Go, though.

Anyway, I'd say if you're even just a little bit interested, even or especially morbidly curious, check it out.

Not to be too negative, but I watched the first two (four?) episodes of Pony Life finally.

They're not awful? The worst I can say is they do not move me. But I might watch two more, and we'll continue like that till I'm sick of it.

Maybe it's just because the MLP stop-motion shorts lowered my expectations, but so far I think Pony Life is okay. I wouldn't call it good, but at least it doesn't directly insult older fans the way Thundercats Roar does (or so I've heard). I enjoy Pony Life's animation style enough to recommend watching five minutes of it. How small are the Pony Life Ponies? When compared to G4 Ponies?

They seem ridiculously small. And Celestia seems so small. She seems to be about the same size as a normal pony. I find it to be heresy that Celestia is so small. She's a big horsey, not a small pony.

I was fired from my job this morning.

It sucks, but I'll move on, probably back to my in-progress novel and more fanfics for now. I won't bore you with the many details, but basically, they wanted perfection, and I'm only human. My manager never checked anybody's work that thoroughly, if at all; tiny engineering mistakes were bound to slip through the cracks eventually, no matter how rigorously I looked over my work.
