While I was looking through some old HTML files, I came across a few stories that were deteled from the site due to the account of the author being deleted along with it. I saved them to my old phone back in high school and I am glad I did because there are a quite a few of these I enjoyed myself.
So, I started on a new story... which I wrote over an old one, which had a lot of religion-based stuff in it. Not that that's a bad thing, but the execution was just too poor to even be repaired. That's why I started from scratch with a fresh idea instead of forcing a dumb one to be conjured up on paper. Like my old YouTube Vlogs story. As I was rummaging my computer and finding countless drafts and concepts, I came across a story that was actually COMPLETELY finished back in 2015! I just never posted it. Yesterday was my ex's birthday. As she has broken off all contact with me for no reason I can surmise, I celebrated by buying a box of doughnuts. Blueberry cake doughnuts are my crack. Anyone who is following my other two stories that I have open are face palming hard right now -- but have no fear!
I've been writing on this next story for a good two weeks now, and have just finished the synopsis for the whole thing. That means that I know all of the story, and how it's going to go. And THAT means that this story is more than likely going to be finished once it's started (which is already is, technically)!
Weird going back to something that old. Before I got any hope for a real feel for my tone.

I don't keep track of the IDW comics much, but I do occasionally read their plot summaries on the wiki. I perked up a little when I saw that the first four "Season 10" issues would be about the zebra homelands. Why did this draw my attention? Because I wrote about it over four years earlier:
I did something weird last year -- I wrote more stories than I published.
The extra three just kind of sat in my Google Drive. Good stories, all of them. Written as part of the Writeoff competition, and taking two gold medals and a bronze between them. But then the contests ended and instead of doing the usual with them – publishing them on FimFiction – they just went back in my files.
Me. I found it. The first script-formatted draft is gone for sure, but I did find the second draft! It was rejected for having godawful garbage-tier formatting, but I patched things up as best as I could without touching anything else. Don't mind the typos and/or occasional broken formatting. I tried to catch as much as possible while keeping the text itself intact. 
Warning: apparently there's very light gore. Blame edgy me for that. :P
