No, seriously. We're currently on Topic List IX, right? This post was a considered topic back on topic list VIII. Or maybe it was VII. I only started keeping track of carry-over topics with list number IX.
Afternoon readers! I know it’s a bit late today. Sorry! I had an appointment that split my morning.
Life has been … chaotic lately. That’s why there haven’t been as many posts on other topics outside of Being a Better Writer.
Yesterday, as part of Veteran’s Day (since a buddy had the day off) I went and saw the new Dune flick.
So, before I get started on today’s post, I have something to say regarding WordPress, the company that I pay to provide hosting and my site’s toolset for writing.
Less than a day. Can't believe I actually got the invite and everything. Work's been so brutal that I think I deserve a few days off. Not that I got said days off easily. Had to fight tooth and nail to get them. I'd post pictures of what my costume is going to be, but I haven't quite finished it yet. I get to put the finishing touches on it tomorrow. In the meantime, I can post a picture of the mask that I'll be using. I apologize for my crappy camera quality.

UPDATE: As of a short time ago, and due to massive public outcry, Xbox has announce that the Xbox Live Gold price hike is no more. In addition, they’re going to be opening the platform’s online play up more to those who don’t want Gold, including announcing that all F2P games will no longer require Gold. It’s a start! Thank you to everyone who made their unhappiness known!
