Any fans of Daring Do and the Inexplicable Artifact want to learn more about the mysterious ancient hieroglyphs that puzzled Daring Do and Twilight Sparkle in that story?

I gather some writers interested in my science communication project would appreciate some story ideas to help develop their own, so in this post I will give some of my thoughts on how to turn my given particle physics research topics into a story. I would, however, remind those thinking of participating that your don’t have to follow this. If you have a totally different idea
Here’s an appropriately cute short description of the T2K particle physics experiment in Japan, which creates a beam of neutrinos at the accelerator complex at Tokai, and sends it 295km through the Earth to a detector at Kamioka, in order to study the weirdness of neutrino oscillations.
The arrival of a new batch of pony episodes reminded me that I hadn’t written anything here for a while, so let’s see what random things I can find to blog about in Chapter 4. Beginning with Bridlewoodstock.
Because everypony loves a mystery!
Sunny: Okay everypony! I know you’ve all been waiting for me to teach you the moves for the neutrino dance I choreographed for us!
Izzy: What’s a neutrino dance?
Continuing my discussion of the particle physics in Daring Do and the Inexplicable Artifact. If you haven’t read the story yet, do so now.
GMBlackjack has now published a pony particle physics story I commissioned. Check out Daring Do and the Inexplicable Artifact. An A.K. Yearling adventure in which our pegasus hero discovers a mysterious object that appears to be shooting some sort of beam, but while it is evidently drawing a lot of power, it appears to have no effect whatsoever on anything in its path. Daring enlists the help of
“Pinkie?”
“Yes Dashie?”
“Where are we?”
“In the dark.”
“Yes, but where?”
“I don’t know.”
“Twilight?”
Twilight lit up her horn, casting shadows onto the walls of a tunnel.
If Imposing Sovereigns II isn't in your court, you may be interested in an alternate proposal. Pineta isn't so much commissioning stories about particle physics topics as he's offering a bounty on them, at 25 pounds per offered kiloword. (Over US$30!) Details here for those interested.
