I've been making some major progress on YHAY:TP Chapter Five. It's going to be a big one, probably the largest of all the chapters. It's packed with backstory, blood, and tension. As a treat, here's a little snippet of the upcoming chapter for you to nibble on.

During an Internet trawl, I somehow stumbled upon an almost surefire method for improving a story. You might've heard of it, but it was so entertaining, I'm posting it here anyway. That method is:
Take the first line of your story, and make sure the second line is, "And then the murders began."
No, seriously. It sets up an inciting action and almost always provides a dramatic contrast with the first line. Try it with some famous stories.
I'm having trouble believing that since she did try to kill Tirek and killed King Sombra with no remorse. I know she's forgiven Starlight, Sunset, Stygian, and Tempest before, but after thinking about it, it could be just because they proved useful and she didn’t see them as creatures with feelings, backstories, and motives like everyone else. She also doesn't seem to care about killing in general or believe that killing is wrong and too permanent to fix.
There are a number of very serious crimes. Rape. Kidnapping. Arson. Armed Robbery. Mayhem.
And of course, there's the three that can earn you to the death penalty in the US - murder, treason, and espionage.
Murder is, perhaps, the worst crime there is. And there are lots of villains who are indeed murderers.
Never heard about this one, some sort of multiplayer assassins game? 8 players, where each person has a target they need to find among the NPCs, I think?
Going to be honest, not really my cup of Joe. Art looks pretty cool, though.

Do murder mysteries have to be rated Mature on this site? Asking because I'm wondering if I can get more readers on Bloodhound if it was rated Teen instead. The only thing that might warrant the M rating are the bodies, which could be considered slightly graphic.

On Fim Fic's discord a few brave authors decided to usher in a new gen 5 era of grim dark for the new mane 5. To write the stories we never could... Cue Avenger's theme.
I took a nap after I got home today. I didn't mean to but I took the wrong allergy medication. I have one for emergencies and another for common use. The emergency one causes drowsiness and so I couldn't stop myself from napping after work. It wasn't a long nap, only about three hours long, but it contained a rather strange dream.
Any artists interested in doing a comic series with me of Fluttershy being a serial killer based on a Blue Oyster Cult Song?
