Those of you who have been following Dancing Alone may notice that my Moon Dancer is a Badass Bookworm, and one with something of a hair-trigger temper.
All through this story I characterize Moon Dancer as an incredibly brave mare with a tendency toward outright berserk rage. And I think this is solidly grounded in vanilla canon.
This is a few days old, but so is a lot of things. Just read the blog.

Twilight totes gave Moon Dancer a key to her apartment in the city! My ship sense is tingling. :)

Someone pointed out that Twilight doesn't live in that apartment anymore, but my ship won't sink so easily! ;)

So I'm trying to figure out what the hell Pony Life is. I've heard all about it but don't know exactly what it is. Somehow during this search, a relative drop down box info tab says ''Who did Twilight Sparkle marry?'' and I was like, ''What's this???'' It reads as this:
Twilight Sparkle married Moon Dancer and they have a child called Twilight Noctua
Moon Dancer’s secret evil plan comes to fruition… or something like that.

This seemingly random thought may or may not be related to something coming in the future... 
Amending Fences was one of my absolute favorite episodes from the entire series so far, and the inspiration bug bit me hard yesterday when I watched it. Therefore, I have created a rather short one-shot for an idea that managed to get me just as excited for writing as I have ever been. It occurred to me the other day.
We now have four alternate Twilight Sparkle characters.
Trixie Lulamoon.
Sunset Shimmer.
Starlight Glimmer.
Moon Dancer.
Twilight Sparkle could have become any one of these characters, had she made a different choice in her life. It is for this reason that they make such good personal antagonists.
Heck, even their names are similar to Twilight Sparkle.
By that logic, had each of them made different choices, they might have become princesses!
Had this thought going through my head and I'd like to share.
All of Twilight's rivals represent directions Twilight's life could have gone if she'd not been such a faithful student and then good friend.
