Sigh.
You know, given the recent track record of EA and Bioware, I really, really shouldn't be surprised at any of this.

So, playing IRO (Ragnarok Online), and I'm walking through an area. The enemies in the area are decently mid-level, about level 55 give or take five levels, and are not aggressive. One of the enemies is basically a giant grasshopper with a violin; the other enemy in the area (yes, only two enemy types in the area) is a fried egg wielding a frying pan. So I'm just walking through the area, minding my own business, when 1 of the fried eggs starts casting a spell, suddenly, I'm blind. I got
In the spirit of... posting stuff that I've been meaning to for a long time, here are some screenshots from the fanmade beta MMO Legends of Equestria, which you may have or not have played already.
Long and short of my thoughts are thus:
I am struck with the desire today to ramble about vidja games for a bit.
Hi all. I've been playing a game from Korea lately. Really got me absorbed. Don't worry. I'm doing some writing, too. Plus, I came up with an idea while playing the game. I need to get some permission from another member before I act on it. But I'm sure it'll be a fun and interesting project. If all goes well (which means "all is doomed to die horribly". LOL), I'll update and post here so everyone can check it out.
In the meantime, I'm gonna commit seppuku with mashed potatoes. OMNOMNOMNOM!!
New patch has been released, changes made include:
- Corrected narrative holes in 'Perfect Stranger' questline and related missions
- adjusted Princess Celestia's AI
- Corrected dialogue errors in the 'Carnival Games', 'Downed' and 'Experiments for Hangovers' quest lines
- Fixed issue causing Spike to lock into T-pose after interaction with Luna
- Fixed issue where Spike repeated dialogue about bribery on endless loop.
- Debuffed trout
- Removed Herobrine
Just got done watching Blizzard's presentation on the next WoW expansion at Gamescom over in Germany, so I figured that I'd kind of mull over some of my initial thoughts in a blog post.
The Good
- Beta stars this year, so we might not be stuck in such a massive content drought like we were between Mists of Pandaria and Warlords of Draenor. Yay!
I just realized I got overly ambitious, to a ridiculous level. I really like the series Log Horizon (the anime, I haven't read any of the written works yet), so much so I started using some of it as a template for both a story and a game. The game aspect is where realized where I started seeing just how immensely ambitious I was making the game; if you are interested PM me and we'll discuss it where there's less chance of getting overheard. I won't get into specifics, for various reasons, but I
I can be a pony in Second Life.
It's sad I'm that excited about it. If you saw some of the Sims I found you might not think me so pathetic though. Second Life creators are freaking amazing sometimes.
(Are you on SL? Pm me!)
So I was all semi-excited to jump on SWToR (Star Wars MMO) after being away from my level 65 scoundrel for 2 months, but then I realized with horror that I was going to have to catch up on the latest patch.
So now I don't know what to do with my very, very rare free time. Like this isn't even normal free time. It's SPECIAL free time. Hubby has kiddo till he goes to sleep.
So I thought it'd be fun to chronicle some of my experiences exploring the MLP community in the virtual world of Second Life as there doesn't seem to be much talk about it here on this site. I show two more MLP sims, my new pony avatar, and some cool examples of mods for pony avatars. Check out the screenshots below!
Okay, here's a better dream for you. It's one day late and more about the graphic novel series I've been reading as a follow-up than Batman V Superman itself, but I'm pretty proud of it.
The actual dream was split up a couple times by me waking up briefly, and it didn't really have any story, but it still fascinates me as I lie here awake three hours before I need to be up. It's all coalesced into a dramatic intro, even.
What They Expect to Give just got another four pages today! The general outline I made for myself months ago is really helping me out. We're now up to 22 pages, 8754 words.
First off, I've got dozens upon dozens of ideas rushing through my head. Problem is, most of the major potential money makers require a somewhat capable or competent team. Case and Point, I've come up with ideas for both a CCG and and MMORPG, the latter of which has been looked over a bit by Foxhlelm, but all in all I will still need a small team for production and maybe distribution. If anyone is interested in helping me with either
Feeling rather tired, so I'll just let the screenshots do most of the talking. I think I finally completed my pony avatar, so now I can talk to other pony players without feeling embarrassed. Yay.
Hey there night owls (or early risers). I had a sucky night, but I made it a little bit better by exploring more ponies in Second Life. I caved and bought a pony avatar. It's really boring atm--I'm testing out mods. But I hope it will be better. Screenshots later when people will actually be awake to see them.
