Planetary Pursuit
The sole prisoner of the moon does not need a fleeting distraction from her vengeance and yet, she pursues him…
Welcome back readers to another Monday entry of Being a Better Writer! I’ve just got one bit of news to talk about, and then we can cut right to the chase and talk about garbage.
Well, not statistics per se, but mathematics. With some unexpected conclusions.
It started yesterday, when Fylifa, who had been asking me to figure out a way to compare the popularity of different ships based on the Fimfarchive dataset – something that remains a puzzle, because FimFiction does not have shipping tags, and figuring out which ships a particular story espouses from text alone is nontrivial – came up with one herself.
I didn’t expect this project would run on for three posts, yet here it is, the next installment! Continuing on from Modernized Friendliest Fleet I can now offer you a complete listing of all known pony (and some not so pony) pairing ships, (with caveats) rated by upvotes-per-day. (with caveats…)
Continuing from Lloyd’s Register of Shipping, now with fewer caveats!
