Okay, it's probably pretty obvious anyway by this point, but to confirm: I've given up on my liveblog of The Immortal Game. It's a lot of work, and no real fun unless there's a reasonable level of interaction with commenters. That pretty much disappeared after a couple of chapters, so I don't have the motivation to continue with the liveblog idea, and I probably won't try it again. Fimfiction author and TV Troper Yami Vizzini is liveblogging (reading through and commenting on) Vengeance of Dawn here, in addition to the more popular story First Do (No) Harmony. It's pretty good. Whelp, now Lil'pip is out of the Stable and we get a damn good introduction to just how different, how alien, this world is to the one she knew. Not so much in the detail, in what we see, as much as the way it all hits her, the sensory overload, the overwhelming feeling of it all for her.
