Silly Horses Words Or Serious Horse Words?
Which do you like best?
Yesterday was my birthday, and the best gift I got was Cerulean finishing editing the last chapter of Blitz. It's done, now! Enjoy!
Next: I write more stuff. Yep. I like writing the horse words.
Just finished and sent out Rainbow Run's Through The Forest.
I will be doing a little reflection piece on the task of writing this. So stay tuned and enjoy some spooky forests!
Wow, the updated box is brutal, I was barely in there a couple of hours. So if you missed it, day 2 of the story formerly known as Apples Don't Care is up, featuring Limestone Pie. And the fetish isn't what you might think it is.
Shepherd: "So... Twilight, I gotta ask: How exactly can we understand eachother?"
Twilight: "What do you mean?"
Shepherd: "I'm literally from another planet. Maybe another universe Yet you also speak English? I mean I know the multiverse is infinite and all but even so, that seems a little... Unlikely. For a certain set of infinity, I mean."
Jake the Army Guy recently ran another Horse Words Extravaganza contest, and I apparently agreed to review one of the finalists. This of course means two things: a solo post, and a lengthier one than I might otherwise have done. It needs to be special. :)
OK, I was on my lunch break today and was dickin' around on my phone, and I don't know what made me think of it, but I was reminded of an old movie that I used to enjoy. I haven't seen it in quite a while; I'm thinking I might watch it this weekend.
1989's 'The 'Burbs,' a comedy with a touch of thriller, about a cul-de-sac street occupied by residents with too much time on their hands. Some mysterious new neighbours move in, and suspicions begin to rise.
Well, maybe there will be. We'll have to see. I filed my grades on Tuesday and I've barely had time to chill out and get ready for the summer before I am heading out again for Parts Unknown, or at least, they are unknown to me. I'm always a little jittery before I travel, but I go anyway because I am Professor Panache, and Adventure Is Out There.
Stuff I've promised to do:
A project I've chatted over with Sketch-AHolic
So, apparently we got a spot during Saturday's HaHcon (Horses at Home). This is an all-day streaming event made for those who couldn't make it to Bronycon. We've got the 5:00-6:00PM PST slot (8-9 EST), in which we'll be answering questions, getting drunk, and generally being terrible human beings.
I recently won a competition against authors much better than I am. I'm still not sure how. (First place out of 57 short stories in last month's The Writeoff Association contest, specifically.)
I am continuing to modify the story for publication which I am fairly certain will make it much better for everypony except Titanium Dragon.
So, I decided “why not” and started a Ko-Fi page. I figure it can’t do any harm. It’s completely voluntary, and I might as well be making a passive income.
Low-key stressed flutterbutter for low-key stressed mood.
Let's try this again. After yesterday's miserable attempt, I'm going to be working on Chapter 6 and y'all are welcome to see!
It would seem that I might be in need of new / additional editors. If you're interested, shoot me a message.
Four tidbits for everyone, all below the fold. Don't worry, it generally positive.
After a lot of time reading and occasionally commenting I finally decided to put up a blog.
But I still don't have much to say so "Hello Person-staring-at-the-screen, it's great that you stopped by."
