Never spent this long playing a game before- at least not since I was seven or eight

But holy shit are the physics and mechanics fun to toy around with. I’ll have to play all the other games to fully judge this one in comparison, but so far, Halo Infinite is pretty damn cool in my book.

And this was, quite literally, my secret weapon.

Just a few tidbits:

-You have to pull it BEFORE you either activate the first FOB or board the Pelican for the first time, not sure which. I grabbed it before taking over the FOB.
-Once you have it, do not drop it.
-Don't worry about close range kills, splash damage to yourself is disabled with it.

If you've managed to stay off the internet the last few days, then you may have missed this.

As of right now, Halo Infinite's multiplayer is live. They've calling it a "beta" but the battle pass is also live, and everything carries over to the launch in December.

I'm thinking about streaming some, but I'm, uh, I'm sucking right now, and I'll get back to you on that.

Pros

• Gunplay is very solid. Once the controller issues were sorted out (set Axial Deadzone to 0 and Look Acceleration to 5), it felt exactly like MCC.
• The game is gorgeous. I cannot wait to see the campaign.
• The AI's are all very quirky and unique. My chosen one is damned hilarious.

Cons

• The UI isn't the greatest. It's been done cleaner and better in Halo titles of the past.

Welp, after all the heaps of praise that the Halo Infinite tech test got a few weeks ago, 343 has come forward and announced that Halo Infinite will not launch with co-op or Forge.

Currently tearing my hair out trying to find a piece of music that is not on Halo Infinite's official soundtrack.

I don't think anyone has ripped the music right out of the game yet.
