In Celebration of the upcoming holiday season, My Avatar now has a Santa hat. · 11:50pm Dec 4th, 2020
I would ask that you all do the same if you don't mind.
I would ask that you all do the same if you don't mind.
As my regular readers may know, I do a lot of science festival stuff. Which is usually only of interest if you live near me. However this year, as everything is obliged to happen online, anyone in the world can join us.
If you want to learn about science research in Oxford, register and join the IF festival for free tomorrow:
I've signed up as an on-call editor for Super Trampoline's forthcoming FimFiction Feghoot Festival. Be sure to check it out.
I think it's pretty neat that he's encouraging people to get their stories edited, and connecting people to make it happen. I approve.
This weekend I will be running a Particle Physics themed stall at the Oxfordshire Science Festival, and thus busy trying to grab the attention of any passing civilians in order to enthuse to them about how awesome fundamental physics is. This requires a fair amount of organisation, so I am now in triple-check-the-checklist-to-make-sure-we-didn't-miss-anything-when-we-double-checked-the-checklist mode. To start, we need certain toys
It's fair to say I've not kept up well at all with Fimfiction for a few months. Much of this has been to do with Real Life -- nothing really terrible, just a lot of things that required attention. I managed to keep the Flashfic 150 contests going, but they only need me to check in a few times a month. I'm acutely conscious that in slipping away for a bit, I've failed to keep up with a few people's PMs. They know who they are, I'm sure. I will try to get back to those, though I can't promise to
First things first, I hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday, and that you've found time to spend with your loved ones. I also hope you've found the time to eat, drink, and be merry, however you choose to do that. Now, that's far too wholesome for me, so here's the lewd part of the blog...
Less than 24 hours after the last review post, here's another!
The song says it all. Soon in the next chapter!
Happy Valentines Day, my friends!
This is your friendly film, TV show, and episode reporter here with another review.
And today, for my 25th episode analysis and seventh installment of my "February Festivity", I'm gonna give you guys my take of "Be My Valentine, Charlie Brown".
Hey everyone!
Look, 2020 has SUCKED for most people. That being said, I think it's high time we start spreading holiday cheer a little early this year!
If you would like, why don't we all have some good old jinglemas fun by popping a cute little Santa hat on our avatars? It's quite simple to do and it adds a bit of color and festive-ness to our accounts!
I have been informed that red and green are appropriately festive colors for the upcoming holidays. Am I doing it right?
I took a small break from writing Controlling Your Desires to bring you An Intricate Disguise's first Christmas fic! I was going to wait until more users were online to post this but I'm feeling seasonal, and there's no time like the present!

So get unwrapping.
Do you like puns? Then you’ll love feghoots! A feghoot is a story that leads up to and ends with a horrible pun. And I love them so much that I'm going to enter the FimFiction Feghoot Festival! Write one and submit it by July 14th 11:59pm Pacific Time (July 15th 2:49am Eastern Standard), and you could win one of over $180 worth of prizes! All the details are here:
The rave scene is more than just music and lights; it’s a vibrant expression of personal style, individuality, and an affinity for the eclectic. And at the heart of this exuberant world of dance and color, rave shirts stand out, creating bold statements and setting trends. Whether you're a seasoned raver or a newcomer to the scene, the right shirt can amplify your experience, ensuring you stand out in the crowd. Dive deep into the exciting world of
The Phoenix Festival was supposed to be marked Completed, not Incomplete. What's up right now is the full intended story (and yes, I know it ends short of a lengthy resolution).
Blame FimFiction for making "Incomplete" the default.
Do you like long, drawn-out puns? Do you like subjecting people to those puns? Do you like subjecting me to those puns? Do you like me scrutinizing those puns with a critical eye? Do you like lots of FimFic-famous authors scrutinizing those puns with a critical eye? Do you like possibly winning $100 for doing so and having your pun subjected to hundreds of other people in the process? How remarkably specific. And yet, it's your lucky day: Super Trampoline is hosting
Due to the nature of this time of year, I find it fitting to up the cuteness to a festive style, so here we are.
That is all
Sincerely,
Slendy
MLP episodes get reviews. Way too many reviews. The MLP comic books also get some reviews, because it's easy to put the colorful visual elements on a youtube video. And they usually have pretty attractive artwork too, so it's easy for fans to at least be curious as to what's going on in those comics.
Granted, the M-filter is turned on, but still...
