Yep the bandwagon has been boarded! 
I have to say that I'm loving this game so far. I say that as I've already had my rear end handed to me twice, but yah know, I still love it. Thankfully it isn't as hard as I thought it'd be.

I finally got the game! It was fun for the first two hours I got to play before my brother took over. (Oh well. I'm the one who bought it for him. So hogging the game for the whole day was going to happen anyway).

Decided to take a page out of FoME's book and title the blogpost after one of my favorite magic cards I've yet to get to play. 
More on topic, I just finished another scene in the next chapter of Desert Spice. I blame a combination of random inspiration striking, and FTL kicking by butt much more egregiously than usual (boarders on the first jump, or the first ship dodging four shots in a row while pouring missiles into my shields... It was more frustrating than usual.)

Does anyone else have trouble with second person stories? I have nothing against the stories themselves, or the authors who write them, but I have significant trouble reading them. First person stories I don't read very often (though I don't see them often either), and I'm definitely a 3rd person/3PO (not the droid) story writer and reader. I just cannot grok 2nd person stories for more than half a chapter before I set them down. I hate that, too, because there have been some stories I've been

I think I'm going to start doing these monthly. Keep myself accountable, and all that. I'm currently averaging about a chapter a week:
As I feared frankly expected, the chapters are still being split for length, so it's getting kind of hefty and we're looking to shoot for the 200k mark. I'm sure they'll get edited down a bit in rewrites, but probably not to the point where I can condense them back into singular chapters.

I rather liked this episode. To me, it was a slightly above average filler episode with sharp writing and good humour. Great character interaction, much fun, and a good moral. Not bad for the new writers.:3 Now then, let me see~
