First off, I want to thank everyone who put in the heavy lifting in this work.
And so it ends, finally! With the enormous editing process done, I can finally say put this fic to bed and start moving onto writing other things outside of this story! It’s honestly a relief. I really want to get back to Chrysalis and Applejack. But first, we need to talk about some stuff for the fans of this fic.
Been a minute since an update blog, so let's do some catching up. How're you all? I hope you're doing well. I am currently sleep deprived because a 7.4 earthquake decided I should get a shot of adrenaline at 11:30ish at night and I didn't sleep well at all after that. It does speak to Japan's dependable infrastructure that I lost power during the shaking, but once everything settled back down, everything was fine. Even my shelve protectors worked like a charm and nothing much fell over.
Time for the slew of holiday well-wishes to filter through the site! I don't have much to say except I hope you had a lovely day. I know I did. Wrote another 1,000 or so words, which is far behind what my goal has been for the month of November, but I'm still trucking along. Happy Wednesday from Japan, y'all. Just hit the publish button on a story idea I'd been sitting on for a few years that I just never wrote. After Chapter 15 was delayed, I knew it'd also delay 16, so I wanted to get something I knew wouldn't take me as long to write out, and this silly X becomes an Alicorn one-shot fit that mold pretty nicely. So, I sent the last two weeks really hammering at the old word processor during the winter break and I made some great strides.
Sorry! No chapter this week. Life has been busy on top of Chapter 11 being a battle to write without falling into a plothole. There were soooo many opportunities with all the characters present to mess something up royally. I had to be sure I got it right in the writing.
Chapter 12 is live and boy howdy is it a long one! I broke my goal of keeping it around 5K. I know I could've cut the chapter early after the first line break, but I didn't have the heart to leave on a cliffhanger after last time. For those of you who like longer chapters, I hope this makes up for nothing last week! For those of you who don't like more horsewords per week, my sanity thanks you, but also you're reading an evolving long-fic. I question your judgement.
Just pushed Chapter 7 live! It's late here in Japan, so I'm not gonna make this a long post. I hope you all enjoy the chapter!
Chapter 8 is written and just needs some editing. I also did something a little different for my writing process and wrote a chapter we are nowhere close to seeing. It's and important one, so I'm hoping to really polish it before it comes out.

Welcome to Chapter 13, everybody! These chapters have been getting noticeably longer since I started using text-to-speech when checking for mistakes, and I am not sure why.
