"Nobody gets left behind."
"Nobody gets left behind."
So, anyone who has NOT seen the season five finale, I advise you to leave right now. Likewise, if you are not caught up to date on Echoing Silence, then I advise you to also go read it first so that you can understand bits of what I'm trying to say below without spoiling the story so far.
Ahem, now that the warning has been made, I can talk freely.
... fanfic write you.
I think I have to finish this story before it finishes me
To read, that is!
I've been getting a bit into songwriting since I got a taste with the whole Lyra thing. The version on Bandcamp is the same one you'll be hearing on the completed version of chapter 18.
Everything through Chapter 6 has been fixed up slightly and had the magnificent voice of Illya Leonov added to the Morgwyn and Nessus.
Chapters 9 and 10 are in the works.
Look to the Second Coming of Pirene... on Illya Leonov's channel!
Greetings everyone that happens to run across this blog.
As a few have notices, I've not updated in sometime, but life happens. Anyways, I am still working on Protocol-D, albeit slowly. I have also been working on a side-story of sorts about one of the characters. This side story will probably finish up first. It is sitting at 8.6k words at the moment. I might break it into two chapters instead of the one do to that fact.
I recently re-read Skylarking the Stargazer's story Serenity Echoing and I realized how almost no one knew about it!
I know. "Again? Who cares! It's cut stuff from an old fic!"
I've realized something, though, as I've been gathering this up: I'm doing this for me. I'm laying something to rest. I'm letting go of a lingering sense of what might-have-been, which in its own way is a part of the story of what ended-up-being.
Maybe it's even the last part of the story.
As I mentioned last time: there's a mountain of cut content from To Serve In Hell, including some nuggets that I very much regretted having to take out. I've already shared a couple of those stronger moments with you, and discussed the thought process that lead to both adding and ultimately removing them.
Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia has been out for a week now in Japan and already things aren't looking too bright for the game. Without a doubt it has crushed the weekly sales compared to all the other games coming out this year by being the number one best-selling game in Japan right now.
Now new and improved.
Please listen with headphones :3

Please welcome our new cast members Illya Leonov (aka Morgan Freepony) and Silver :)
You may have noticed that these blogs are becoming more spaced out and that I have an excuse each time for the lateness. Well, the main reason is that I'm losing steam on this project of mine. Most of the well known stories I've already done and the rest I haven't read. Plus, I feel like I'm repeating my jokes more often than not.
As those of you with Echoes will know, Alexa has been suffering from various network problems this morning. Something of which I became aware when she spent much time saying, well, "I'm not sure what went wrong."
Suffice it to say that this pony:
Hey folks!
Just want to give a quick update on how Pirene is going.
I'm going to re-record chapter 10 to fix up some major quality issues I discovered during editing. Chapters 22 through the epilogue will also be taken care of very soon.
Chapter 17 is on a delay.
Buuuuut I have my reasons.
A reason.
It's in 6/8.
I think.
But in the meantime, I will be spending my nights working on chapter 16, plus wholesale retakes of Chapters 1 through 4, for the next two weeks or so. I'll also be taking care of the chapters that come after 17. All in all, this should be done in late March or early April.
