Welp, I shall be on-and-off when it comes to my grandparent's house and my own. Lori Dearest is back (my wife / brother), so that means that I'm going to be thrown off of my personal schedule for sleeping times and the like. Glad he's back and all, but when I want to stay up late to continue playing a game or to work on a story or project, I can't do that anymore.
Heya readers,
My friend alittleofsomething drew me some art as a Patreaon reward.
The picture is by her, the dialogue is by me.
Check it out here.
Enjoy!
Hola readers,
Today's surprise offering of Dan & Pinkie joy comes from not one, but two talents!
The first was a birthday present Nova Quill made for me a few weeks back.
You can find more of her wonderful art here.
To conmemorate the fifth anniversary of its cancellation, it's time to talk about a show that's only recognizable for bronies, but from my perspective, should be known more. And in a time where Adventure Time has defined animation, it's certainly a great breath of freshness.
I'll be posting my Top 10 episodes eventually
Wow... it only took me a year and a half to do this pendant... In no particular order, let's get this over with. As always I'll leave you the episodes in the link below if you want to check them out.
It's a train without tracks. Made it in a fit of writer's block, but seeing the end of the Sonic Heroes playthrough really got me revved up.
Tears of empathy,
Rain down on me,
Consult me about your insults to me,
Inform me about your cruelty on me,
Ask and all is forgiven,
If I understood your intentions,
I'd say you were trying to make it up to me,
If so, then my judgements are set aside,
If that's what it takes for us to coincide,
I no longer want to fight,
I only want my father back,
On that day that I find it again, my respect,
I will be more than glad.
Thank you, dearest,
It's all I wanted from you.
Always be reckless and party hard,
Always be there for you when you need me,
Always listen when you feel down or sore,
Always offer a shoulder if you're feeling dour,
Always dreaming of you when I sleep and you keep me awake,
Felt broken hearted,
Felt numb and cold,
Felt like something was missing,
Felt like my ashes were being scattered by the wind,
Been longing,
Been searching,
Been waiting,
Been thinking,
Been fantasizing,
You may be surprised to hear this from someone like myself, but to tell you the truth...
When it comes to writing, I think it's fair to say that every single person who has ever sat themselves down with the plan to become an author, starting with something small and progressing onto a bigger project, has thought to themselves, ''Man, this sure is hard! I can barely concentrate and I can hardly get this chapter finished without being distracted by something or someone!''
Nobody else seems to say it, so I will.
After a bout of editing, everyone gets a new Wheel and the Butterfly chapter released earlier today.
Also, NEW FIC! My daughter ended up waking me up at 5AM and my brain started bugging me:
"Hey! Write stuff!"
"No! Need sleep!"
"But I have an idea!"
"So do I, it's called get a REASONABLE amount of sleep!"
"My idea involves the last episode of ponies AND Sunset Shimmer!"
On the off chance you've been letting your feed pile up and ignoring all your updates until they hit triple, maybe quadrupedal digits (in which case, you probably won't see this, but whatever...)
I spent some time considering what I can do to get some work out there, so I came up with this short story I've had for quite some time. It was a story based on the series I started but never finished called Afterworld.
I published it last night as an e-book for Kindle and many other devices. It's short, it's crappy and I know it, but what can you do? I've made some edits to the old version, which made me cringe, and this is what the result looks like.
