A friend of mine thought that this was good content, but my proofreader thought I should cut it because it repeats some things. So I decided I'll leave it here for all of you to make of it what you will.

The line of soldiers opened fire. Just as they did a bright light blinded everyone. The soldiers and solar guard shielded their eyes. Once the light subsided a large white alicorn was seen. She had shielded the guards from the barrage of rifle fire.
“Soldiers stand down!” Fulks ordered.
“Guard stand down!” Celestia commanded.
I made a few minor changes to ...But It Often Rhymes, and I forgot to talk about them in the blogpost where I talked about ...But It Often Rhymes. So that wasn't very Cheerilee of me.
Suddenly the throne room doors burst open and three pegasi in military uniforms came in. I only recognised one, Spitfire.
“Captain Spitfire, what brings you here?” Celestia already knew why but I think she asked anyway for an explanation.
“The noble’s requested military action. So they called us in.” Spitfire then fished out a scroll from her saddle bag with one of her wings. “This is an official order from the noble’s to take action.”
It's always funny when I find little manuscript fragments on my hard drive, because when I read them, I'm hit with the sinking realization that this is how the story would have gone if I hadn't had the good sense to reevaluate what I'd written. What's funnier is finding entire half finished (or even fully finished) alternate versions of chapters. For instance, the original version of the fifth chapter that I'd hoped was gone forever. It's not gone forever, and that makes me miffed.

Whenever I win, or even just rank, in a contest of any sort, I feel like Mabel Pines in that Gravity Falls bit, where all the characters are playing cards and Mable keeps winning, even though she doesn't know what game they're playing or what the rules are.
Which is to say "Posh Update," rather than "Posh is going on a date." Sadly.
Have a class, which you basically looks at movies and learn about some techniques and editing and stuff.
Started wondering what if someone's super power is mild 4th wall acknowlesgement, and the ability to abuse Cheat Cuts.

Some person in a bar. Idly swirling a drink with a straw. After several sips, notices he is running low. Drops a few bills and calls for bartender. Bartender still attending other people. Annoyed, he snaps his fingers.
Now that there are actual people regularly reading the EC stories, commenting, discussing and sometimes arguing about them, and asking for detailed updates, I am wondering if it might be worth my time to set up a Fimfiction group for them. This would help keep everything organized and might also foster more discussion... or it might just be a big waste of time that never gets used, I don't know. Seeing if people are interested enough to comment on a blog post is the first step.

So as the author notes stated in the last chapter, the battle with Gwyndolin went through a few revisions due to finding out what was originally planned didn't work as well in execution and also new material from both the MLP show and the Dark Souls games coming out that changed the dynamic of things. For those who were wondering why Gwyndolin was such a talkative enemy, it's because he wasn't meant to survive past this one segment, thus I only had a limited amount of space to fit in all his
I was replying to a comment on Hollow Hope, and my unrelenting urge to explain everything cropped up.
This is an urge I've had to curb, as the entire point of a Silent Hill-like story is all the unusual symbolism, and all the theory-crafting that surrounds it. If I just laid the entire thing out on the table, it would ruin the story.

It's the grand finale of the Solid Snake and Twilight Sparkle Show! Part... three? Three and four? To be honest, even though they're numbered 13 and 14, I think of both chapters together as separate parts of 13, but as has been pointed out to me, having nearly 40k words divided across two documents does qualify as two chapters.
