Those of you following Never Too Clever may have noticed the design used for Clover the Clever in the story’s cover art, drawn by idoodlewhatiwant on Tumblr. I’ve commissioned the same artist to do draw portraits of the other five founders, based on the designs I’ll be using for the same fic. For those interested, this is what they look like. I’ll leave it up to you to guess which one of them is which.

For those who haven’t figured it out by some of my recent blog posts, the next chapter of Never Too Clever will be an Ace Attorney pastiche. I’m going to try to keep it as faithful to the AA series in tone and presentation as I can. Part of that is that I’m going to be inserting several links to music tracks in the fic itself in places where they would play if it were a visual novel like Ace Attorney.
Hello, I am writing a new fan fiction story called "The Seven Trials of Clover the Clever." I really wanted to do this story for a while now, and I think it is time to do it. Look for it in the near future. Adios, Au Revoir, Auf Wiedersehen, and goodbye for now.

I'm working on a couple projects, entering at least one contest soon, and working on my contribution to a lovely Pinkie collaboration.
December wasn't my month, you may have noticed. It never is. January is looking up finally, and next month might be even better.
With my MLPlaneswalker series having turned into my own passion project, I’ve decided to more fully flesh out some of the series chronology. I’ve retconned some of the rough dates shown in flashback in Shadows Over Equestria, Part 1 to be more consistent with this new vision. The dates used are in Magic: the Gathering lore’s Argivian Reckoning calendar.

So you liked one of my stories, and want permission to do a reading of it on Youtube, or do a spinoff/sequel of your own.
When you need an OC, how do you come up with character names? I always feel like I struggle to create decent MLP names. For example, I'm doing a sort of sport fanfic where I'm trying to come up with two OC names for a sport commentator and sport analyst. It's harder than it should be. One character is a mare who runs a TV show that analyzes competitors and predicts outcomes. The other is an older stallion with forty years of experience in sport analysis. Seems like a lot of people (myself included) think Star Swirl taught Clover. But an idea hit me the other day. What if it was Clover that taught Star Swirl? It is beginning looking like she (do we know the gender? Clover could be a male name, too) predates him. Just a thought.

Okay I am getting really close to the release of the "Night Dreams and Day Mares" reboot and I was wondering how I should handle it.
I have a few options. One, I can place new chapters and delete the old stuff.
Two, I can Re-purpose the old chapter into the new and keep the old comments.
I just saw Forgotten Friendship. And once again, the plot is the same: an Equestrian Maguffin was banished to the EqG realm; ergo EqG has to deal with the problem Equestria wouldn't/couldn't handle. Before you say, "that's just the Equestrian Girls' plot gimmick," let me tell you that another franchise suffered for repeating this same plot over and over and over.
