There was a portion of "Why Bother?" that I realized didn't make much sense. And that's the portion where Luxure mentions of her finding out that Sombra was one of the later villains that she found out was defeated. How can that be though, when the very thing used to beat him was the thing she was trapped in?

I think the writers have found themselves in a bit of a pickle.
They had To Where And Back Again as a Season Finale, long-awaited and well-received by all accounts but with that out the way, they've kind of been a bit pushed for ideas.
I mean after that kind of showdown, it takes a while to decide where to go from there without anything to build up to.

Real quick, my dog Darcy got herself hurt today while Bubble and I were out doing errands. We are at the emergency vet now. It isn't life threatening, but she’s going to need care that supercedes ponies.
