Just finished the first chapter of my story, and I've just submitted it. Can't wait 'till it's accepted! It is my first ever fanfiction, so I do hope that anyone who decides to read it will enjoy it.

Just wanted to give a quick update on the printed version of The Monster Below. With Nightfall and a script I was working on now complete, editing has resumed, and should be steady from here on out.
Next update will come when Bathroomstahl and I are halfway done.

It's been a while since there was an update for the printed version of "The Monster Below," so I thought I'd give you all a quick status report: Bathroomstahl and I have finished revising the first five chapters, but I currently have five other projects on my plate:
1. Finishing up "Nightfall."
2. A non-MLP novel
3. Another non-MLP novel
4. Yet another non-MLP novel
5. Revising "The Monster Below"
6. A screenplay
When I finished the third Monster Below story, 'Sunfall' two years ago, I thought I was done. The story I had wanted to tell was finished, the main characters had died and gone to Heaven, and there was nowhere left to go. I was satisfied to take what I had learned, say goodbye to my creations, and walk away.
But as many an author can attest, sometimes finished projects can sing a siren song to lure you back.
While neither story has really received much attention, I am happy to report that both Let's try this, then. and Below have received unanimously positive feedback so far from those who've actually bothered to read them, which is great. I'd much rather be writing good stories than popular ones, and I'm very glad that you guys are appreciating my work.

Bathroomstahl and I have begun work on editing "The Monster Below" to get it ready for publication. As detailed in a previous blog, this is to clean the manuscript up by fixing any grammar and punctuation errors, tightening and condensing sections by removing redundant information, and generally bringing the quality of the writing up to date with what I've learned since the book was first posted.
Somewhere along the line, my wife became a big fan of Zecora, so much so that she did a simple cosplay of her at TrotCon 2018. Guess who drew spirals on a pair of pants the night before?
Rating Scale:
12/10—a complete masterpiece; flawless and outstanding
11/10—Excellent, near-perfect film
10/10—the standard rating; awesome film with a couple of flaws
9/10—a wonderful film with several flaws
8/10–a great film with numerous flaws but not enough to ruin it
I just published Chapter 99 - The Slog! As I publish, I am writing the final chapter in Book 4. Chapter 132. I have plenty of editing to do, but its on to book 5! That is the final book. I do plan to release a set of Anthology pieces alongside Book 5. As usual, if you want to see something explored in the Anthology, let me know!
Also, I am working on another piece in the Dragon War Series.

I know, a late release for the last Chapter. But Book 3 will be finished this Tuesday! And then, Book 4 will be released on or by the 28th. I might get impatient and release it soon after Book 3 is complete.

Hey pones! Just a quick blog post--I always promise to release the non-pony stories that I've written as part of my Patreon for interested parties to read. One of those was Deep Below, a novel-length Splatoon story I've been writing over the last year.
We have another wonderful audio reading for you guys! This is the second time fimfiction user Sparrow9642 has created a recording from one of my stories entitled "It Moves Below" starring Marble Pie.
