I'm not sure that we can do anything to fight this in eroupe, but it's still important to note how people's rights to make creative things. article 13 recently passed in eroupe, and is about to go into affect, if it does it will serioulsy damage our ability to create pretty much anything. So, some good news today: The EU copyright law I have been so hard on against failed to pass into law yesterday.
On September 12, the EU is going to bring back Article 13 (As well as Article 11 and the rest of the EU Copyright Directive) into negotiations.

To anyone who reads or writes fanfiction, I really think this is important to read. It's been a good ride, y'all. But today, Articles 11 and 13 of the EU Copyright Directive passed with no amendments. We're likely about to see a massive purge of user-generated content if it even has a 'risk' of violating copyright due to the implementation of bots and algorithms meant to delete anything that 'could possibly' violate copyright in an attempt to keep the now-liable web platforms that host our content safe from lawsuits.
