You ever take a second to look at your old fics and your old writing, and it just makes you cringe hard? Because I look at some of my old stories and I don't know what I was thinking. I was inexperienced and god just trying to attempt to read through some of them is rough at best. It's kind of interesting to see where I started vs where I'm at in my writing development and the comparisons are in fact quite a margin.

I personally don't like writing ponyisms into dialogue, I find they make me cringe when I read them back.

I hope I'm not the only one who has this issue, because in my first chapter, I intentionally avoided saying things like somepony due to the fact they make me feel incredibly silly when writing.

Should I just suck it up and make with the damn ponyisms?
