February 2019 Mid-Month Writing Progress Update · 7:21pm Feb 15th, 2019
Howdy, folks!
Might as well do another one of these writing updates. So first, let’s talk about Sweet Pepper
My pc broke. I ordered a part to fix it. That's why no new update for What They Expect to Give or its AJ/Sunset spin off yet.
Cross your fingers! Part should be here Monday at the latest.
so the next chapter that I will post tonight is basically filler to kinda get into Principal Celestia's head about this whole thing but the next chapter which should be posted tomorrow will probably be longer than any of them (just to warn you) since it is going to have a lot of things in it I know most of you will want to see happen. Plus it is revealed who all is behind the anon-a-miss account and why the girls behind it even thought it up/got involved.
Howdy, folks!
It hasn’t been very much time at all since the last writing thing of mine went online last week, and yet I have a new story almost ready to go! This one was fun to write. The idea for it sort of congealed all at once when I was going through some notes over what I wanted to write next, and I’m pretty happy with how it turned out. Here’s a preview of the story page.
I have a draft complete for Chapter Thirteen of Her Collar, Her Love. Needs polish and edits. Still hoping to get it up by the end of the month. As luck would have it, I just got sick, but I'm resting lots. Fingers crossed!
Worst case scenario, it'll be an early December update.
Worked some more on BTD: Equestria chapter 2. Y'all are gonna see how well a Blue Bloon encounter goes.
Wrote another chapter of "What If...", as requested by comments. I see the potential in that chapter to become a fully-fledged fic.
No work on Pony-Me or its related stories today.
Just a heads up; though I've been trying to get chapter updates out roughly every 1-2 weeks, that cadence may slow a bit in the beginning of April.
Hello readers
Just popping in for a little update
I wasn't going to do updates like this because I never expected people to like my story
Knowing that there are some people who are invested in my story is definitely a huge motivation for me, and definitely a reason to update.
So without further ado, the update:
Chapter 4 is at least 40% done
June is the start of my busy period at work.
So I been pretty busy with shifts, including overtime.
I still don't have a solid writing schedule. I'm thinking of picking a time or two during the week to snarl at my family that mommy needs her writing time. I have made scattered progress here and there, not just for the AJ/Sun fic (which is my priority atm, being so close to finished) but also for my Eerie Lantern fic! I even had a mind to resurrect my pirate pony fic.
I'm still terrified that I'll wind up getting another repetitive strain trying to write with the swipe keyboard, but so far it is working.
I wrote 2500 words yesterday, and around 3000 today. I also just finished chapter 53, which means I'm done with the initial write of Block 5. The block is sitting at nearly 100,000 words!
Hey guys.
I'm a little anxious this morning, so I'm writing this blog to get through it.
I get some general writing updates out of the way first, though. Full post after the jump.
Hey guys. I'm still alive and covid-free. I hope everyone is holding up okay during these troubling times. My family and I are managing fairly well. We feel it like everyone else does, but in light of what some have gone through, we've been fortunate so far.
A writing update. What They Hope to Find is over 37k words and counting. I had to split the draft into three separate chapters just to make it less ridiculous. Still working on the next installment, though. I had another scene I wanted to add before I do my final editing routine.
Hi all. I hope everyone is doing well. I've been taking an extended break from FimFiction lately. Had some undesirable interactions with some users. That coupled with some of my creative frustrations just makes logging on... kind of unpleasant? If I do log on, it's usually to try and catch up with the fics I'm reading and then I quickly log off. I'm just feeling drained with the MLP fanfic community, if I'm being honest.
Now that The Monster Below: Nightfall is complete, I thought I'd put up a list of writing projects I have in the pipeline, so that none of them slip out of my memory. At this point my primary focus is on getting The Monster Below revised and ready to be published (still quite a ways off), and doing a few one-shot stories. Doing novels is fun, but it'd be nice to do one or, at most, two-chapter stories that don't take years to complete.
Generic writing update. I have so many drafts for several stories, not all of them pony related, and somehow one keeps pulling ahead of the pack.
Hello folks, just wanted to let people know it might be a while before I do any updates. (even though it turns out its only been a month since I did any writing that I updated here... fucking hell man the last month feels like its been so much damned longer!
