There’s an interesting thought I’ve had bouncing around my head for over a month now, and all the more lately as a result of several other articles and blogs I’ve read that unknowingly touched on the topic in a way, but … how do we value an e-book?
Merry Jinglemas! If you enjoyed my entry in the exchange, you may want to take a look at the epilogue I've posted in Dueling Keyboards. As noted there, I felt it didn't merit inclusion in the story proper, but I did like it enough to preserve it in the shorts collection.

I am in favor of crediting inspirations, that is ALL OVER my back catalog.
I also know at least one person who is like 'eh, ideas are not for crediting, they belong to everyone.'
And it is true that some ideas are available to everyone. Like..."I want to write Rainbow x Gilda." That might not require a VAST amount of creativity until you actually write it.

This upvote/downvote system is brutal man. Although it makes sense, there are a LOT of stories on this site.
This means there's a lot of stories that could be, and are currently in the top 1000 though~! I know I haven't read them all, so it actually makes me a bit excited to pick up a new fic~
