Because Ponygrad asked for it! And also because I'm lazy and putting off doing actual productive things.
See, over the last couple of months, I've been painting minis to pass the time. It's relaxing to sit down and do something with your hands, with a podcast or YouTube or some random netflix show in the background. (Sidenote, I'm almost out of Hannibal episodes, which means I'm gonna have to find something new for background noise).
I'm not going to claim that things are in any way "normal," now, or even that the "old normal" is something we should be striving for.
And, y'know, I still don't know if I can write silly pony fic right now. But at least I have slightly LESS of a sense of existential dread right now-- not to mention the fact that it looks like protest action around the world is beginning to have SOME effect for the better (though we really need to keep going).
So. Who likes Noir media?
I'll confess it's not my very favorite, but I do find it compelling. And I do enjoy interesting roleplaying games. To wit
A small, independent RPG dedicated to Noir. It looks pretty cool, and he's doing a lot of neat extra setting things. Noir in space. Noir Cthulhu. A blatant Who Framed Roger Rabbit expy. All kinds of shit.
Warren started the briefing, explaining into detail how to get through all the twists and turns of the facilities.
Within two hours and found of themselves standing outside the facility walls. The Decker jacked himself into the computer system in an attempt to gain access to the building.
“listen, Jackie, when this is over, if you are the only one left, disappear” Warren spoke with authority.
Jackie nodded, and hid behind a nearby dumpster continuing to guide them through.
The RPG project I was working on is ready for playtesting, the tabletop version anyway. Drop me a line if you’re interested in being part of the playtesting.
I also created a Discord for the playtesting, click here to go to it
Hey y'all! I know I shill for a bunch of Kickstarters around here, but this one's special. If anyone remembers me talking about Godbound last year, well, this is another game by the same fellow who made that!
HI! How are you doing? If the title doesn't give it away, I am looking for players for a My Little Pony themed tabletop rpg that will be recorded for my youtubes. It will be set in my AU that all my stories are also set in (So if you want to fuck up my entire lore, you know, go ahead.) and will be played using a heavily home-brewed version of the Blades in the Dark system. It will be played on Tabletop Simulator (A free copy will be provided if you do not already own the game) and will be made
Yesterday, my best friend came over and hung out with me and my brother! We did a lot of fun things, and he even brought up the topic of Tabletop RPGs, so I had an idea for a one-shot story, inspired by “Mushrooms & Morons” from SMG4…
Yeah, yeah, I'm talking about another Tabletop RPG.
Originally this was the system that was primarily used by Margaret Weiss Productions. As Cortex it was used in things like the Serenity RPG and the Battlestar Galactica RPG. Then as Cortex Plus it was used for things like Marvel Heroic Roleplaying, Smallville, and Firefly.
Hey nerds, remember when I was talking about those Kickstarters I was backing? Well guess which one came out super super early?
Yeah. That's right. My favorite one came out super super early.
It took a while, but my RPG for bronies, Tiny Horsies, is finally on DrivethruRPG.com!
Hello everyone and welcome back to the question of the week. Happy new year to you all.
So, with Wizards of the Coast (WotC) seemingly trying to alienate their fanbase and burn DnD to the ground, my friends and I have been considering the idea of dipping our toes into other rpg systems, while at the same time I'm experimenting with the idea of creating my own system.
