So since I was away last weekend I had got alot of time put into this game.
First of all, CAROL learned Psychic on level up so I immediately used a Moon Stone to evolve her into Musharna, and now makes a very unsettling ghost whistle sound when brough out into battle. (And since the Evoilite she's been holding this whole time is no longer in effect, I gave it to CHARON, which has evolved into Lampent.)
Wow...I'm speechless...the Cutie Mark Crusaders were actually called by the map for a mission to fulfill a mission...my brain stopped functioning for five straight minutes when I tried computing the implications of this....first Starlight, then Spike, now this...I'm sensing the element bearers, who we have been watching and following for a long time from the start, are probably getting...mixed in with everyone else as far as roles is concerned. After the Dominaria prerelease, it feels appropriate to have an episode focused on people returning home after a long absence. Of course, not everyone has that same sense of history and nostalgia. Let’s see how this pans out, and hope there’s nothing that anyone can peg on Belzenlok, King of Storms, Spirit of Chaos, Enslaver of the North, etc.
Although seaponies were first introduced to the franchise in Generation 1, they were given a new life all the way back in 2017 with the MLP movie (and a passing mention in the Season 7 finale).

My Cutie Mark Crusaders got sent by the map! :D They really did! :D This is something I didn't see coming! I heard theories by others that they might get sent and I hoped for this to happen, but didn't really believe they would get sent by it..... But now they did! :D This adds further confirmation to it that they have great and epic futures ahead of them and will help protect Equestria eventually! :D
After some delay due to a certain rise of depressions, here are now my belated afterthoughts on "Surf and/or Turf":
- Right at the beginning of the episode, I noticed something interesting about Sweetie Belle's reaction over it that they get send to Mount Aris. After she said "Wow, that's almost", she paused for a very short moment and only then continued with "off the table!". And she was flinching slightly during that pause and seemed confused.
