I wasn't satisfied with Strong Hoof's design. It felt a little... lacking in sheer intimidation. So, I gave him another go and made a much bigger looking stallion that definitely should live up to his actual description within the story!

And for comparison sake, this is the old design.

The new design has been added to chapter 30 by the way.

After Season 7 ramped it way up with the strong male characters, Season 8 seemed to put the pause on that. We didn't get really bad stallions per say, we just saw a lot less of ones that in previous seasons had been really prevalant. In particular, Shining Armor got arguably the worst treatment as a result of this new school direction. Been working on Chapter 4 of SoT and I hope to have it done soon, hopefully by Tuesday. It's a fairly short chapter compared to the others, but still. Not setting anything in stone yet, but I hope to have it done very shortly.
