So today I started and finished writing the new first chapter of the rewrite. I'm pretty happy with it right now which means I will hate it in three days. However, I think its a definite improvement from the original, largely because I'm taking the time to develop the characters instead of just jumping right into a fight scene.

My sister (the teenage one) just turned 16 today! Her sweet 16 is a little sour because it's April Fool's Day and we're telling her she's 17... but she knows it's a joke. I told her to wake up for Saturday School and she knew right away I was joking.

I first watched Friendship is Magic just before the second season premiere in 2011. After that, I had a very limited connection with the fandom, only really looking at fan art and reading news on EQD. I never read fanfiction until recently, so I missed a lot of fan powered lore being shared. And because of that, I missed the whole Pie sisters Pac-Man inspired naming scheme. I'm glad that I did. Why do I say such a thing? Here's the story.

She's been playing hooky from her online classes for some time and when I send photographic proof, my mom scolds her for a bit and then later she threatens to blackmail me by telling her I watch porn so what do I do?

I tell my mom I do exactly just that but on occasion since i'm a guy and to my surprise, she was okay with it!!

Now my sister sulks in her chair in utter defeat. She wants to play hardball? Fine. We'll play hardball.

Sooooo, I kinda forgot about this last month. Oops.

Ah well, I guess that just means I'll need to have two sneak peaks again. YAY FOR SNEAK PEAKS!

Also, given how my next chapter of 'How to Meet the Parents' is now undergoing edits and a lot of changes as I rework a few of the character interactions, I'll be giving hints for the next chapter of Freedom Shall Ring instead, which, good news, the first draft is written and is now in the editing phase
