Those That Follow · 9:05pm Jan 11th, 2018
How often is it that we stop to think about them, those that follow? Those that follow us, specifically.
Not often, I expect. After all, it's just a number isn't it? Well, sometimes it is, perhaps.

I don't usually discuss personal matters here, but this one is fairly major. To give you an idea how much so, let me tell you a story:
All stories stop. Some are lucky enough to end properly.
(Before anyone panics, this isn’t goodbye from Fimfiction.)
Merry Christmas/Enjoy your Monday to one and all! I got fun books, more stylish clothes than I'd consider for myself (and socks that derive the Einsteinian mass-energy equivalence,) and Explorers of Ixalan, but the real gift was seeing everyone else's reactions to what I got them. I only started giving gifts a few years ago, and there's a great deal of joy in seeing that you got something they were hoping for, or didn't even know they wanted. As I write this, my mother and sister are reading
As the tags indicate, this is a sentimental blog. I'm giving a sendoff to a helper and friend that has been with me for years, but with which I must now part ways.
I don't usually use this site as a venue for personal matters, but today...
Well, today I'm going to do what I usually do around here. Today, I'm going to tell you all a story.
I am kind of having a moment right now. Ponies: The Galloping 2, a set of four out of the Mane Six (Twilight and Rarity were part of PtG 1) in actual Magic card form, is currently on sale. As part of that, the Arena online client has several pony-based cosmetics available.
Seven years ago today, a young man stood in his bedroom. That day, the 13th of April, 2009, was his birthday. Though it was thirteen years prior he was given life, it was on that day that he was given the name Zoosmell Pooplord John Egbert.
On this day, his long, exceedingly strange journey came to a close. Barring an epilogue with no definitive arrival time, Homestuck has ended.
And best troll lived.
I don't post much nonpony, but this... This is special to me.
The fact that these pillars of my childhood have returned home. The fantastically crafted moveset. The bits of other Banjo-Kazooie level themes slipped in the Spiral Mountain rearrangement.
Sometimes you encounter a confluence of concepts that feels custom-tailored for your enjoyment. Such as your obsession of the last decade crosing over with the first video game you ever owned.
Just wanted to share this.
Well, this wasn't supposed to take this long. In any case, you may have noticed a theme with my last three stories. This was intentional.
Happy turkey day, people who celebrate turkey day! And for people who don't, too, for the record. I guess you don't need to get in on the stuffing-full-of-stuffing to enjoy the general atmosphere of family togetherness (which, hopefully, is a good one for y'all.) For folks who aren't that closely knit, i hope the day's a day of free-floating good feelings; for the folks who are closely knit with your kin, then i hope you have an absolute Norman Rockwell of a time.
Stardom Freedom, based on the warm reception surrounding your OC's debut Lp, I hereby follow it up!
