I'm Sorry For Everything · 12:28am Apr 10th, 2022

I've been pestering everyone for so long about my problems (both writing and otherwise) when I should be focusing on self-improvement. That's why I've decided to stop turning others off with my problems and focus on others, how they feel, and how I can get better for both them and myself. Thank you all for helping me realize this and for all the helpful advice you've given me over the years. I appreciate it.

Peace in chaos · 10:46pm Sep 29th, 2022

I'm in a Carl's Jr hanging with my family.

An odd arrangement of words foresure and especially in a website about writing but, I feel like it's odd choices are needed in this mundane life.

(Art by Racoonsan).

I think it's good to reflect on a teaching that has shaped my current worldview, as I believe it is relevant to the current climate we live in. That being the teachings of stoic philosophy.

Open Critique/Request: What Are the Biggest Strengths and Weaknesses in cleverpun's Writing? · 9:00am Jul 19th, 2019

I often make references to the idea that writing is a constant quest for self-improvement. It requires self-reflection and self-critique. But there is a limit to this. After a certain point, self-reflection and self-critique always suffer from a lack of perspective. There's a reason you get reviewed annually at most jobs.

I Can't Read · 4:46pm Mar 19th, 2017

UPDATE: I'd really like recommendations of stories to read that could improve my writing!

Last night, I dreamt I was taking a standardized test in an amphitheater with a few hundred other students. Except I teach college, and it was an eleventh-grade exam (all the other students were teens).
