Hey everycreature, it's time again for our annual Nightmare Night party in Central Ohio!
This time it's just two weeks away (on the 27th). The party this year will be 5pm through the next morning. We'll have plenty of party games and lots of candy, food, and libations.
Costumes and fursuits are encouraged, but not required! Anyone is welcome to attend if they're friendly, so feel free to bring some friends.
Any and all work on my stories is coming to a complete halt for the next two weeks on account of a trip to Ohio for some work. Demolition work. This will be either incredibly awesome or utterly terrifying...
Not sure when exactly I'll be home, but chances to work on my stories are going to be rare until I do get home.
See you later guys!
I'm planning on going. Not giving a talk. Anyone else?
It's finals week so I'm clobbered until Tuesday. But I have an announcement:
Me favorite socks? Arrrrgyle!
Hay everypony, our biggest party of the year is THREE WEEKS from today! It will be a wild party filled with games (board, card, video, and social), food, drink, and friendship.
Trotcon rescheduled its cancelled summer convention to December without telling anybody.
I've attended Trotcon for years, and they have my email and my address, but I got no notification that the con was being held, but moved to December. Just found out a few weeks ago. Forgot to post anything on fimfiction because I don't do much on fimfiction lately except check my notifications once a week bcoz knighty made notifications disappear after a week. Sorry!
So, I haven't made you guys aware on here, but there have been quite a few changes regarding me going to TrotCon this coming weekend. Those of you who might be attending the con and are interested in meeting up there, READ BELOW:
Anybody attending TrotCon in Columbus this year? I sure am. Probably the same day as before, just a Saturday. I'm hoping to stay a lot longer this time too.
If anybody's going, hit me up.
We've got another Not-A-Contest fic here, this one by BlueBook. You might remember his previous entry, Team Boat (if you don't, you should read that one, too). It's got things I love in it--obscure or forgotten tech, actual facts, and boats!
I expect to give a talk on the structure of fimfiction at Trotcon this weekend, assuming I finish it in time. It's basically what I posted in Author clusters question.
QUBE was a cable television system that played a pivotal role in the history of American cable television. Launched in Columbus, Ohio, on December 1, 1977, QUBE introduced viewers, and the international press, to several concepts that became central to the future development of cable television: pay-per-view programs, special-interest cable television networks, and interactive services.
During a talk with my friends about the thirty-one murders that happened August 3 in El Paso, Texas and August 4 in Dayton, Ohio the topic of our conservation switched to our personal moral codes. I thought it would be interesting to write down my personal moral codes to see my beliefs in print.
I hesitate to even suggest you grab your favorite beverage, you're just gonna skim this one. But, if you're game:
Alright! I can now get this one out... The three I am doing today are:
Just Dodge! by DannyJ
Fluttershy Gets Replaced by a Sherman Tank by Estee
Princess Celestia is Replaced by an Ohio-class Submarine by Greenback

Edit 29-January: They completed their main goal of $20,000, which gets them out of debt if I understand the circumstances correctly, and are now on to their stretch goal of $25,000, promising “Cotton Candy and Popcorn for free for all attendees” as the bonus.
