She is rarely ever referred to by her name, and the heart locket she wears contains the souls of all of her dead parents.

She is black and red all over because that is edgy and she is edgy.

That's just about it. She's a very flat character as far as characters go.

Nightshade originally was written in The Wielder of the Orb as a teenage mare that was rather uncomfortably forced into the salvaged shreds of storyline from the original Wielder of the Orb: Of Magic and Ponies.

Lisa, just like Zoey, is a classic character of mine that's existed all the way back to when I first started seriously writing. Originally, Lisa was Zoey's younger sister, and really had almost no plot presence whatsoever other than to give Zoey a little sister. Personality-wise, Lisa started off pretty much as a carbon-copy of Zoey, being a sort of "mini-me" to her older sister at the time.
