Now I'm sure there is some metal heads like me out on this site.
Who really enjoyed the new album by Metallica? Hard-wired.... to self destruct.
I probably rated it about 8.9 out of 10. It was that good.
For me all the songs were equally very good, no matter how long or short they were.
The several songs I really enjoyed the most are (from favourite downwards)
What will it be?
It could be David Bowie's "Black Star"
The upcoming Tool album.
The upcoming Guns N Roses comeback album.
Deftones "Gore" (An album I just purchased today, it is by far the best album from Deftones in a long time)
The upcoming Radioed album
The upcoming Pearl Jam album.
I don't know yet. It could be any of them. What do you all think?
This time, it's a soundtrack based on BlackRoseRaven's epic (in both senses of the word) story, Hecate's Orphanage.
It's about twelve tracks long, and costs 7 USD, but each track is available for name-your-price download, meaning you could get the entire album for free if you wanted.

So… I finally got off my ass and published this. My new album containing 10 tracks! 10! And they're totally free (though you can pay if you want)! Go get it by clicking on the image below.
It's alright.
Not the best I've heard from them, but it's enough to make me excited to see what else the album has in store.
"Molecules Colliding" from the 2024 Custard album Suburban Curtains, apparently releasing on Oct. 11 from the video description I just read, which I swear wasn't there this morning.
I woke up at 7:45 (raritydespair should be called :despairity:). At this time of year, that is what we call ass o'clock. I had to take the car to the mechanic since I'm the only other person left in the house with their license. I listened to the R&B channel on the way there and it was pretty good. When I got home, I ate leftovers. They were so good! It was fish, almonds, and olives. I found this shit.
...Yes, I'm celebrating more album releases.
And unlike Hybrid Theory and The Black Parade, which felt too iconic to ignore, neither of these are iconic.
I'm just obsessed with NateWantsToBattle and Saint Asonia (okay, less Saint Asonia, and more Three Days Grace, and the lead singer is one of the singers of TDG)
From the 2019 album Flawed Design
From the 1983 album Pyromania
It was in Def Leppard before it was in The Offspring. (both songs are fire, though)
Two birthdays, one album release, one missed holiday, four songs.
Bonus song #1: Papa Roach - Help
From the 2017 album Crooked Teeth
Turns out, yesterday did, in fact, have a holiday. Yesterday was World Mental Health Day. Now, in most cases, if I discover something after the date in question, I won't mention it, and it will come up next year on the date in question.
From the 2024 album Summer in the Dark
Much like other nihmune albums, this one sparks a whole range of emotions, and a pretty diverse sound. This one is my favorite. 9/10 album, highly recommend.

1996 song
33 years ago, what I would consider the best version of the Addams family was released - I am of course talking about the 1991 film The Addams Family. Unless of course if Tim Burton's show Wednesday is in an alternate universe from those 90's films.
