Cover art updated successfully, and so has the design of Nova Shadowlight.

And honestly, I’m more proud of the new cover art. Because the new character design gives off a much stronger Mary Sue vibe than the old one. That and the new cover art alone supports the tone of the story a lot more.

But I digress; what do you guys think?

As a writer and a brony, I can say I've seen that term flung around A LOT. Though after that whole Alicorn fiasco, I can safely say that not many people know what the term actually means.

There have been several interpretations of the term, but I feel the most complete one comes from former fandom member Bronycurious.

“Mary Sue” is not a legitimate criticism of any work of writing and most of it's existence it has only been used to bully creators, specifically younger creators, just because their work is “cringy”.
