Went and saw Avengers: Endgame today · 1:05am May 1st, 2019

And while I won't be dropping any spoilers until the full write-up...

Whoo-hoo, what a ride that was. :pinkiehappy:

It was thrilling, dramatic, emotional, and still had some good moments of humor too.

I really enjoyed myself. Definitely a worthy culmination to an era of moviemaking that started back in 2008 with RDJ and Iron Man.

Saw the new Spider-Man today · 4:12am Jan 12th, 2022

It was good.

Really good. :pinkiehappy:

I had a lot of fun with it, and after the more disappointing Marvel movies of 2021 (mainly Black Widow and Eternals) I was very pleasantly surprised by just how strong a film No Way Home was. It was ambitious, but it didn't come off as bloated; it was fun, without sacrificing more emotional or heartfelt moments; and its ending really took me by surprise - but in a good way.

Another movie I've been meaning to write up. I saw it just before I shipped out on my trip out west...

Fun fact - this is the second Marvel Cinematic Universe film that I've seen on my birthday. The first one was Spider-Man Homecoming.

Mini Movie Review Marathon · 3:14pm Dec 3rd, 2021

Hello all. I've had this thought rattling around the old noggin for a while, and thought I'd dash it off while I'm still waiting to depart on my trip.

I've seen a share of movies in the past several months, and while I've wanted to write up my thoughts on them for a while, I've not found it in me to sit down and do an in-depth writeup of them... so I thought I'd just compress the whole thing and do each movie as its own paragraph or two. Keep it simple and to the point.

Mini Movie Review Marathon, Part 3 · 9:19pm May 15th, 2023

Hello again, everyone.

Been a while since I posted a blog. Even longer since I really posted about anything movie-related. Hope that you all are doing okay.

Decided to play some catch-up on what movies I'd seen, both for the rest of 2022, and so far in 2023. Some of them will be familiar, no doubt, and others may be a bit more of a surprise. :raritywink:
