Best Story of All Time? · 12:38pm Nov 18th, 2014

I don't really understand the hierarchy of FIMFiction's rating system. I just checked the statistics, and much to my surprise, The Guard Dog Paradox is rated the best story of all time on this site. With a mere 481 likes (which compared to other great works is not that much). Why? Sure, I feel like it's a good story, and getting the animalistic first-person perspective right alone took a lot of hard work. But can anyone really call a simple one-shot about a guard dog's

I Continue to Amaze Myself · 10:50am May 17th, 2014

I really thought I'd be prepared for this sort of thing when I detected the pattern involving headcanons back with Friends in High Places. But nope! I am still very surprised by the amount of attention and praise my most recent story, The Guard Dog Paradox, has gotten. Mainly because writing in the first person for an animalistic character like Cerberus is, well, hard. I really didn't think I would pull it off, but it appears I did.

Fresh-baked Ideas · 12:13pm Nov 15th, 2014

I mentioned in my previous blog how I'm always coming up with ideas, some of which are better than others. Well, it looks like I struck gold with my latest creation, Reformation Buddies. I'm seriously getting flashbacks of Hey Diddle Diddle, A Visit From Fiddle, and how that story was so well-received based on premise alone.

Let me just start off by saying great googily moogily! I had no idea my new story would generate this much attention and intrigue in such a short amount of time. I have to say, I'm pleasantly surprised. Since thanking you all individually will take, like, forever, I'm just going to say it here. To everyone who decided to fav this story, Hey Diddle Diddle, A Visit From Fiddle: I'm glad it has piqued your interest, and I hope it will continue to entertain you.

Yay for Yaks! · 11:54am Jun 30th, 2015

Well, I can't say I didn't see this coming. Apparently, my headcanon has been very persuasive once again with my latest story, Yaks Not Ponies. So persuasive, in fact, that it made the Feature Box. And to think the story spawned out of frustration at the amount of unnecessary flak the yaks got for their over-the-top behavior.

Pastis Syndrome · 12:40pm Dec 8th, 2013

I read in the treasury books of the comic strip Pearls Before Swine (if you don't know what that comic is, check it out. It's very funny) that the creator of the comic, Stephan Pastis, sometimes has difficulty predicting what comics are going to be a big hit, what comics are gonna generate complaints, and what comics are simply going to be duds.

Overnight Success · 11:51am Oct 26th, 2015

You'd think I'd get numb to this by now, but I continue to be pleasantly surprised. Once again, my headcanon has proven to be quite persuasive with my latest story, A Hint of Key Lime. Which once again puts me in the position of having too many people to thank individually.

So, I'll just do it here. To everyone who liked this little tale, thank you. I'm glad you enjoyed my take on Limestone "Key Lime" Pie.

Edit: And now it made the Feature Box. Huzzah! :scootangel:

Detecting a Pattern · 10:47am Mar 22nd, 2014

I'm starting to think that you guys really like my stories that basically explain my headcanon regarding certain episodes. Almost every time I've posted a story like that, it's generated a positive reaction that has far exceeded my expectations. Case in point, my most recent story, Friends in High Places. I seriously wasn't expecting it to get the amount of attention it got. Heck, some of you want me to do a sequel, to which I say this: Why? It's just a bit of headcanon. How

Double Feature · 11:52am Oct 30th, 2015

Wow. Apparently, I wasn't content with writing one super successful story, so I decided to make it a double. Talk about lightning striking twice in the same place.

Once again, too many people to thank individually; doing so here; yadda yadda yip yorp. To all those who liked my story The Truth Hurts, thank you. I'm glad you enjoyed this in-depth analysis of Lightning Dust and Wind Rider.
