Another Monday blogpost, coming to you on a Tuesday. This time we're looking at episode 23: "The Hooffields and McColts."

Nyerguds sometimes posts long discussions between him and his friends about recent episodes. They did one on The Hooffields & McColts, in which the question came up of why Twilight was in the episode, since all she did was annoy ponies by trying to solve the feud with her fancy book-learnin'.
Man, I just can't think of anything to say about last week's episode. The opening was great, the rest was just eh. I wish it had been a bit more "Discord thinks Twilight's life is too organized (i.e., the opposite of chaotic) and wants to punish her for it". Instead, it's really tedious, and I don't know if that's better or worse than an episode that makes me cringe or gets me upset. I guess it's got a message about how memes wear thin after a while? Except Bob Ross! :V
Get it? The Hooffields and the McColts?:D It's a pun on the Hayfields and the McCoys, a literary pun:D

WARNING!!! The following contains SPOILERS for today’s MLP episode “The Hooffields and McColts.”
Now, without further askiddly-bopty-doo, here is my review of “The Hooffields and McColts.”
Princess Twilight and Fluttershy are called by the map to settle a dispute between two feuding families who can't even remember why they are fighting.
This is what I get for having a messed up sleep cycle....apologies! I thought I was getting better at this :(
Ma Hooffield: Truce?
Big Daddy McColt: Truce.
[the two ponies spit on their hooves and slam them together]
Fluttershy: Hurray! Finally, some progress! This is so great, Twilight!
[Twilight stares at the two hooves dripping spittle, her eye twitching]
Fluttershy: ...Twilight?
Twilight: [under her breath] There's no such thing as too much Purell...
...the wind and the rain never came.
To call the place beautiful, no one would choke,
Though hard on the hooves, they'd exclaim.
But high in those hills, past the rocks and the rubble,
So high that the clouds were below,
Lived two redneck clans that were nothing but trouble.
As you listen, you'll see that it's so.
Now the clan to the West, that thought it was best,
Wore the name Hooffield like shoes.
Not much to say on this one. Because it didn't give me much. Instead I'm gonna be a self-indulgent whore. Because I am. 
I liked doing the double review last time, so let’s do it again! The finale will get it’s own review, and there will be one final season-ending mega-review where I rank the episodes, but for now let’s do two quick reviews! Head below the sighting of the most important pony to get a quick look at the last two episodes of the season before the finale!

So, I hear a lot of bronies talking about last week's episode, one that is based on one of the most infamous real life feuds in history. I think it had some good jokes and some weak points, but it was certainly a good episode. However, one thing that I keep noticing is that people compare this episode with what is considered by most to be the worst episode of Avatar: The Last Air Bender. But I honestly think this is an unfair comparison. Sure, the plot of both episodes is fairly similar,

This episode opens with Fluttershy and her critter friends hanging out inside her cottage, getting ready to enjoy a nice discussion as part of her furry friends book club activities (go to your local library and get some books. It's good for your mind). This is interrupted when, on Angel's prompting, Fluttershy realizes that she's being called by the map and has to leave.
I came into this episode with high expectations. Twilight and Fluttershy in an episode together, probably for the first time since A Bird In The Hoof? (Seriously writers, what the heck is up with that?) Plus, there seemed to be something of a family feud plotline, which while easy to mess up or make too anvilicious, I still found intriguing. All in all, the concept was promising. But how about the execution? How did I feel coming away from this episode? Read on to find out.
Those of you who liked Goodnight Sweetie Belle, will definitely enjoy this one, as far as the mood goes.
So, once again, Prane and Gulheru dragged me into one of these review thingies, and once again I went along mostly so I'd actually get around to watching the episode. I still haven't seen a bunch of those in between, though 
First things first, I know I'm two weeks late with The Hooffields and McColts, and a bit late with The Mane Attraction.
Look, three things first off work alright, as I've said in the past I'm working now so I'll no doubt slip up more often than not.
Secondly, there was more then a few times I could have taken care of The Hooffields and McColts, but Atlus...

Survey says this isn't Richard Dawson's sort of family feud. Yellowquiet and Purplesmart have their work cut out for them.
