Well, sorry things have been slow for me. It's been stressful and busy. So I got some advice for my writing that actually is helpful. A friend of mine said that while the action scene in the first chapter was fine, it kind of dragged on too long. This is something that I fully understand. How I'll do things now is cut up actions scenes and cut to different scenes in the meantime, then get back to the action later. This will give the reader make everything much more well paced.
