When Twilight is the BEST approached me about writing a bit of a review of their story Fullmetal Pony I was pretty hesitant. While my knowledge of pop culture is broad, wide and deep, anime is one of the areas I haven’t been able able to spend much time in. While I’d like to see more, I simply don’t have the time to separate the good stuff from the drawn-by-horny-college-guy crap.

As I was updating the details for FMP, I decided to finally get around to updating the dramatic readings done by Silver Knight. Welp, turns out his youtube account got term'd, and all of his videos are gone. So until he can reach out to me and say if he's still interested, then the old live readings are no more.

Not too terribly long ago, I explained a few of the graphical whatsits that you can see in Fullmetal Pony. While that blog did go into some detail for the common "cutie dividers" that separate scenes, it did leave out the images on the other end of the spectrum - title cards such as the one above.
Hey, readers. This is just a quick post to say that I've completed drafting on about 9/10ths of chapter three of Fullmetal Pony. The remaining work left to do is entirely in one scene of 3.4, which - for once - I know exactly where I want it to go. The rest includes a whole battery of second drafts for the other chapter segments...including one that puts the focus squarely on Flash Sentry!

I need to know if I should really put in the effort on a few things. If I should even bother with them at this point.
Who kept up with my fics? Who has been genuinely entertained by them? Who actually wants to see them continue? And above all, who needs it to be me who continues them? Because honestly, I can't justify all of this.

I.....think the writing is good. However, my preferences for crossovers do not lend themselves into putting characters in the shoes of another...I am not a huge fan of having Twilight take Edward's job.
I'd say it's been long enough. New chapter is comin' in two days.
Seems I can't do anything right the first time. Well, here's the in-progress collection to every single resource, note, draft, scrap, and plan I had for FMP. This is everything except the private messages between me and Twilight Is The BEST. And even now I'm still not done cleaning and formatting all of the documents in it.
There have been lots of people who, out of the kindness of their heart (or sheer boredom), have chosen to read Fullmetal Pony and drop a line. Seeing those comments, questions, and demands to know when the next update would be have warmed my heart and pushed me to work a little more each day on chapter three's segments. I've made steady progress on parts one, two, and four, plus titles for all four segments.
So...would it be presumptuous of me to cheer when I see this on the homepage?
