Similar to my Angel Kisses series, I hope this story will have lots of feels- but also uplifting. I won't spoil anything- the cover art should be enough right now.

(Hie) Human in Equestra, regarding the wish fulfillment cliche.
I'll be frank, I don't care about wish fulfillment as long as the grammar is fairly good. I know it's a cheesy story with tender romance between human and a MLP FIM pony that with lots of overly tender intimacy. But it warms my heart, despite being fiction.
It's no secret that Friendship is Magic has a preponderance of wish fulfillment, both in fanfiction and in art.
This is nothing new. All fiction attracts escapism by its very nature. Yet FIM as a fandom seems to have a lot more of it. You could argue the law of averages here—more fans and more internet exposure may make the problem seem more severe than it really is.
Finished the third draft of my original novel. Doing art mostly right now.

Now sitting at over 46 thousand words and being subjected to numerous rewrites, I imagine anyone who's been following my blogs just assumed it was another thing I talked about doing and just never did.

It might hit 30,000 before it's done. Firesight is really earning his merit badge in editing for this one. He's caught a number of issues stemming from the unfamiliar style I'm working with and made some amazing suggestions. I've rewritten an entire 1000-word block of chapter 1 based on his feedback and added thousands more to fill in the huge pacing issues that plague virtually every story I write.
Wow, it's been a long time since I've actually made a longer blog post and almost a year since I've posted a story. So... what gives? Three little words.
