Lots of people have already said this, but: yeah, it was great. Second best EqG thing after Rainbow Rocks. Lots of good things, eg PONIES! Also Celestia not instantly being okay with Sunset. Also world-building. Also Trixie. Also... etc. A few bad things, eg the forced lyrics in the first song. But overall, great. ★★★★

I didn't think it was possible. But there is actually a character I hate more than Starlight Glimmer.

"Forgotten Friendship" is an....okay movie. It's not without its flaws, but not so bad that it stopped me from enjoying it, it has an interesting concept, and I genuinely felt that the stakes were high for Sunset.

That said.....Wallflower Blush. HOLY CRAP, Wallflower Blush!

*breaths in and out* I love it! It was soooo good! Everything went well in that special and I love how it progressed. We call all feel what Wallflower gone through, the wanting of being notice, the knowing that you exist is a thing at least most of us feel right? I won't spoil all of it but I will say BEWARE THE FANART STAMPEDE. Beach scene plus fanbase equals a lot of fanart.

So, yesterday I watched EqG Forgotten Friendship for the 2nd time, and when I think I couldn't love Sunset Shimmer more, she proves I'm wrong. Before the special/film, I read the book and to be sincere they don't go so long from the 'original material', and this is a good thing I think.

Today was the debut of an Equestria Girls special, "Forgotten Friendship", in which the Humane Six have somehow forgotten everything good that Sunset Shimmer has ever done. Sunset, not sure what was going on, asks Princess Twilight if they were still friends and if she was nice. Twilight affirms this, and Sunset travels to Equestria. Twilight tells her that there's one pony who would know. Sunset asks who, and then makes a realization.

I haven't seen "Forgotten Friendship" in full yet, but from what bits I saw on YouTube, my own headcanon got screwed (namely, that Sunset never got back to Equestria and never saw Princess Twilight and Princess Celestia until the events of Fallout: Equestria Girls).

Expect some retcon. There won't be much, but Chapter 31 at least will have to be re-written a bit.

...that Hasbro is doing the shipping for the brony community. After watching Forgotten Friendship again today it dawned on me that Sunset x SciTwi is a canon ship. If it wasn't, Sunset would've acknowledged all the girls instead of just Twilight. Then to add to that Twilight was the first one to hug Sunset after they regained their memories. Therefore, SciSet is the OTP.

(I know someone somewhere has already posted this, but I'm kinda slow sometimes. )
