Here's a clip of a rewrite for chapter 2 of "Equestria: Civil War". I decided to go through with the idea of having a new character take on much of Celestia's position and lines, so as to keep the harshness necessary, but keep Celestia in-character.
Here it is:
“Aww, don’t be such a frowny-puss!” Pinkie chirped. “I don’t think it really was that bad!”
Not too many people follow me, but I can’t help but recommend a fantastic mod called Equestria at War. It’s a mod for Hearts of Iron 4, but somehow the modders made the game even more interesting. I highly recommend it.
That's right, folks! The final Chapter for A Shattered Crystal is finally out, bringing the third part of the Solar Empire storyline to an end.

This time, I deliver you a direct sequel to my previously released story A New Equestria. It's a first person story following Twilight or, as she is now called, 'Sunrise Sparkle'. We get to see just what she has been taught by her new Tutor and Empress, and what tasks she is given.
Keep in mind, I've only gotten the name and description down as sort of proposals, and that I'm open to ideas from you my loyal followers. I /might/ release it if I don't get any feedback, but feedback from you guys will definitely inspire me to actually get it out to all of you. With any luck...you might actually be witnessing the return of General Soarin!

So, I've kinda been working on this little lore thing of mine in my spare time when I'm not writing fanfiction or comic or my original novel. Seeing so many "Equestria At War" stuff and things of that nature has always made me want to do something like that. Over time, ideas have started to come up and now I'm writing lore stuff to go with this sort of idea I have in my head that is a major AU in a war time for all of Equus. Okay, I actually cannot explain. definitely one of the strangest games of HoI IV I've played.
To be fair, that was all AI. I was busy on the other continent selling leasing weapons to both sides of a major conflict.

For the last 8 months (I can’t believe how fast this year has gone!) I have barely been reading or writing. A constant tied of other commitments, work, studying and other such distractions has occupied my time. In the moments where I do get a chance to breath and start reading or writing, I often fail to do so. Instead it’s far easier to watch meaningless YouTube or play games. It’s not work, it’s relaxation.
A week ago today I woke up with a desire to change that.
